Three times the charm

Wow, 3 posts in one day. At this rate I might be able to make up for the days I did not post ;).

While going through a box still sitting in my garage from our move last summer I found a German crochet and knitting book that had an easy to understand pattern for a rose (well, that is what they called it) and I made it. It came out quite big, so I wanted to see how it looked on a card before I made any more.

Here it is, what ya think? Is it too big for a card?

Recipe:

Paper: SU Chocolate Chip CS, Basic Grey sultry pad

Ink: Chalk Box dark brown

Stamps: SU Thank You Kindly

Accessories: Cricut Expression Home Accents cartridge for the label which was cut in two sizes and stacked,

Basic Grey button in pink, handmade crochet rose, white satin ribbon, Martha Stewart Butterfly

punch, pink half pearls, handmade pin with different shades of pink glass beads, pink trim

that I found at Big Lots, small golden bead end caps with half pearls in the center

So, should I be making some more of these roses? I think it makes a pretty cool focal point.

Thanks so much for stopping over.

Hugs,
Sabrina
