I also used one of the April release stamps called Romantic Floral Designs, which fits the Spellbinders labels 26 dies perfectly,  so this is a little sneak peek on what's to come on Monday 1.April!

Thanks so very much for stopping by. I pray that each and every one of you will have a blessed and fun Easter weekend.

My girls are in our Annual Easter play at church, so we will be at church most of the day, but that is quite alright, as Christ is the real reason for this holiday!

Easter Branch...

Hello and good Thursday morning sweet stamping friends! I have a card to share with you today that I have made using the "Happy Spring" stamp set by Our Daily Bread Designs. As some of you know I was born and raised in Germany and we have this tradition of having some Pussy Willow branches in a tall vase that we decorate with either real eggs that have been blown out and decorated, or using pretty decorated paper mache eggs that are hung from those Pussy Willow branches. So when I saw this stamp set I thought of those memories and wanted to see if I could sort of put this idea into a card. Well, since the egg is quite a big larger than what would work for the size of the branch, I decided to try out shrink plastic. It worked pretty well, but I only had clear shrink plastic on hand so my eggs are translucent, but other than that I am very happy, LOL!

Easter  Love

Recipe:

Paper:  PTI Vintage Cream, Harvest Gold, DP BoBunny Country Garden Collection

Stamps: ODBD Happy Spring

Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa, StazOn Timber Brown, Copics

Accessories: Spellbinders Petite Ovals Large, Labels 17, shrink plastic, ZVA Creative pearl flourish, silk ribbon, Martha Stewart butterfly punch, floss, dimensional snow pen

I know this is a pretty simple card from what I usually do, but I wanted to just focus on the simple beauty of the Pussy Willow branches and those cute little eggs hanging from them.

If you have a minute I'd like to know what you think,

As always, thanks so very much for stopping by. Have a blessed and super creative day!

Sending Love.....

Hello and good Tuesday morning stamping friends. I am popping in real quick to share a fun Easter card with you all. Last year I bought this cute little Cheery Lynn Designs Easter Basket die called "Spring Basket 1" and really had not used it. So when i was sitting there trying to come up with a card, I remembered and just went for it. It is the perfect size for the egg stamp, which is part of the "Happy Spring" stamp set from the March release. Have a look and see for yourself.
