Hello and good Monday morning stamping friends. I hope you all had a fabulous weekend. Ours was as usual very busy with church, but that is a good thing! I am just popping in real quick today to share a card with you all. For my card I've used one of the October release stamps by Our Daily Bread Designs  called "Apple Wreath".

Give Thanks

Feature Focus.....Crown of Thorns

Hello and good Monday morning stamping friends. Today I have a card for you that I have made for today's "Feature Focus" post for October over at Our Daily Bread Designs.  To see all of the wonderful samples some of the Design Team members have come up with make sure you'll check out the ODBD Blog where the focus is on one stunning stamp set called "Crown of Thorns" . Here is what I have come up with. I went for a more masculine card :D

Forgive them...

Recipe:

Paper:  PTI Rustic Cream, True Black, Spring Rain, Basic Grey Granola

Stamps: ODBD Crown of Thorns

Ink: VersaFine Onyx Black, Memento London Fog, VersaMark and black detail embossing powder

See, very simple, but this set is so powerful that I wanted the focus to be on the stamps!

It's a tag...a Christmas tag!

Hello and good Thursday morning stamping friends. Just popping in real quick to share a Christmas tag with you all that I have created using one of Our Daily Bread Designs  October release stamp sets called "Perfect Gift". I kept it fairly simple and only added a few embellishments, you all know how much I love embellishments. Have a  look and see for yourself.

Peace, Joy, Love

Recipe:

Paper: 4"x6" piece of medium weight chip board, Memory Box DP Spiceberry, silver gray cs from my stash (might be Recollections?)

Stamps: ODBD  Perfect Gift

Ink: Versa Fine Onyx Black, silver chalk ink, Versamark , silver detail embossing powder

Accessories: Spellbinders Labels 28, charms, red organza ribbon, silver cording, red and silver lace, poinsettia, silver mesh bling cut apart and glued into a cluster, berries, silver glitter sprig, red rhinestones, clear rhinestones, silver eyelet

See, not very embellished, but enough to make a statement. I'd like to know what you think and appreciate your comment.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and making my day a little brighter.

It's a Fall card!

Hello and happy Monday stamping friends!  The other day I had some time to stamp a quick card and this is what came out. For this one I've used one of the October Release stamp sets by Our Daily Bread Designs which is called "Pumpkin Wreath" and in combination with some older Basic Grey paper called Pyrus, that has some pretty Fall colors I came up with this

Our God

Recipe:

Paper:  PTI Rustic Cream, Ripe Avocado, Recollections Kraft, Basic Grey Pyrus

Stamps: ODBD Pumpkin Wreath

Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa, Tim Holtz Distressing Ink  Tea Dye and Vintage Photo

Accessories: Cheery Lynn Designs French Pastry doily die, Fanciful Flourish, Spellbinders Labels 8, Toffee colored seam binding, cotton crochet lace in cream, harvest gold colored lace, loop trim, Memory Box Nestled Bird die, Mulberry sprig

Size: 5.5" x 5.5"

What do you think? Isn't this Basic Grey paper not perfect for a Fall card?

Well, this is it for me. Gotta run and get my little one from school. I wonder how the first day of school went after being home for 3 weeks. :D  She did not want to go to school this morning. ;D

Thanks so much for stopping by. It is always a joy to read your comments.

Have a blessed and super creative day!

A blue and peaceful Christmas

Hello and good Friday morning stamping friends!  I am popping in to share a card I've made. With my girls being home for three weeks for their Fall break I did not get much stamping done, but I was able to sneak in  little time and create this very blue and white Christmas card. For my card I've used  the set "O Christmas Tree" and a bunch of embellishments. Have a look and see for yourself

P e a c e

I am not sure you can see, but I sprayed the image layer with Lindy's Stamp Gang Glitz Spritz in Scintillating Silver and the shimmer is amazing. It looks like snow crystals :D. Maybe a little side shot of the card will show it a little better

For that extra little touch I also added a little dove, I don't know about you, but when I think of peace the peace dove comes to mind, so I've added one.

Recipe:

Paper: Classics Card stock in silver gray, SU Buckaroo Blue, PTI White,  The DP I believe is BoBunny, but if I am wrong please correct me. :D

Stamps: ODBD "O Christms Tree"

Ink: VersaFine Onyx Black, VersaMark, opaque white embossing powder

Accessories: Lindy's Stamp Gang Glitz Spritz in Scintillating Silver, white Mulberry roses, acrylic flowers, Zva Creative pearl flourishes, Recollections half pearls, Deco Art Glamour Dust, clear rhinestone gem, small dove, Spellbinders Floral Ovals, Petite Ovals Large, Decorative Labels 1, lace with pearl trim

So, what do you think? I know this is not a card you want to mass produce and mail out, but I thought for a very special friend, lovingly wrapped in lots of bubble wrap and mailed with a little extra care it would be alright. ;D

Oh, before I leave you, I have an announcement to make. Since 48 hours have passed since I announced the winner of  the Birthday Hop candy I was giving in honor of Kelley's 50th Birthday, my first pick has not contacted me, so I did use Random.org again and this time it pulled  Cindy K..
