Well, this is it for me for today. Had a very eventful week, some insurance trouble, my card battery gave up on me. My DH was supposed to get home Thursday night at 5:34 PM but due to BAD weather did not make it in until 4.5 hours later. And last but not least, today as we were returning the rental car that my husband got up in Phoenix to drive home so he would not have to spend the night because they grounded all flights. One of my tires blew out!!  I tell you, I am so thankful that my girls rode with my husband and not in my van. GOD is a good GOD and I am thankful that it did not blow out while I was going 80mph on the highway, it blew out as we were pulling into Costco to do some bulk shopping. So, after all of that I am thanking GOD that he was with me and my family the entire time...he is an awesome GOD, isn't he?

Thanks for making my little Blog your stop today! I am forever grateful for you visiting me and leaving me a comment!

Have a wonderfully blessed weekend!!

Happy Hump Day....

my stamping friends!!  I hope all f you are enjoying your week so far. Mine has been one thing after another, but that is all right. Today I have a card to share with you all that I made with a brand new stamp that was released just Monday from the Scripture Series 2 collection and one that was released on the first of the month. Here is what I did

The word is.......

Recipe:

Paper:  PTI Vintage Cream, Simply Chartreuse, Basic Grey Hello Luscious

Stamps: ODBDScripture Series 2 (Deuteronomy 30:14) and Garden Collection Flower Border

Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa, Memento Rose Bud (for the distressing)Copic Markers RV00. R 81, BG93

Accessories: Spellbinders Labels 18, ODBD Custom Die Elegant Ovals, Fleur De Lis Motifs, Recollections half pearls, Wild Orchid Crafts roses, May Arts leaf ribbon, cream cotton crochet lace, chalk white seam binding

What do you think? I hope that this card will inspire you today. I am sorry I'll have to keep it short and sweet today, but out of nowhere my car would not start yesterday afternoon and I had to get my neighbor to jump start it (my DH is out of town) so this morning I have to run and see if I can get my battery replaced.  I am just thankful that I picked up my DH truck from the airport. If I had left it there like he wanted me to, I would not have had a card to pick up my girls from school yesterday. So, I've gotta run! :D

Thanks so much for stopping by and making my day a little brighter.

Have a wonderfully blessed and creative day!!
