Snowy Christmas Blessings

Hello and happy Friday stamping friends! Sorry it has been a few days since I posted, but I was down with a severe migraine. I finally was able to take a picture of my card I made a few days ago and this is what came out. I know it very rarely snows here in Southern Arizona, but I remember oh so good how much snow we've had back home n Germany growing up. There were more than one days that we had no school because of too much snow. So, this card is in remembrance of those days.

The Babe

Hello and happy Thursday stamping friends. I have a tag to share with you all today, but first I would like to say to all of my stamping friends out there. I am sorry I have not been around much. I am still dealing with shoulder pain and have seen my PCM and he has written up another referral to the specialist and I am waiting to hear from my insurance. It looks like that the inflammation I have is still present and I most likely need an MRI and another shot into my shoulder joint. To make a long story short, my time on the computer is very limited and time crafting has to be spread out as too long in the same position is causing a lot of irritation, so please don't give up on me yet!!

Anyhow, here is the tag I created.

The Babe

Recipe:

Paper: Light weight chip board, Recollections Kraft, PTI Vintage Cream, My Minds Eye Lost&Found Christmas

Stamps:  ODBD The Babe

Accessories: Spellbinders Grand Labels 4, Labels 4, Labels 25, Cheery Lynn Designs Fanciful Flourish, cross charm, burlap, twine ribbon, muslin strips, poinsettia

So, this is my tag for today. If you have a minute I'd really like to know what you think.

Well, this is it for me for today. Thanks so very much for stopping by to say hello! It is always a joy to my friends visit!

Have a blessed and super creative day!

Peace & Joy

Hello and happy Hump day stamping friends! Today I have a Christmas card to share with you all that I have made using one of the November release stamp sets by Our Daily Bread Designs called Turtle Dove Ornament.  For some reason I am not in a Christmas mood yet, I mean really, we still have 90 degrees temperatures here in sunny Southern Arizona, but with some Christmas carols on my iPod I've tried and this is what I have come up with.

Peace & Joy

Recipe:

Paper: PTI Vintage Cream, Recollections Kraft, My Minds Eye Signature Christmas

Stamps: ODBD Turtle Dove Ornament

Ink: VersaMark, Ranger Detail Embossing Powder

Our Daily Bread Designs November Release Blog Hop

Hello my friends! Welcome to the Our Daily Bread Designs November  Release Blog Hop! If you got here from Dawn's   Blog, you are in the right place! If not, you might want to start at the ODBD Blog so you don’t miss anything!

The hop will run from 8am EDT Nov 1 until 8pm EDT Nov 2. Winners will be announced on the ODBD Blog Nov 3 Three hoppers will win their choice of one free set, and 1 blessed hopper will win the entire Nov. Bread Basket Bundle......YAY, how awesome is that?! Simply hop to each stop, leave a comment and return to the ODBD Blog to tell us you completed the hop and let us know if you had any problems along the way! That’s it! Enjoy!!!

This time around I did not make a card, I went with some gift tags and a little gift bag to put them in.

and here is view of the backside where the names can be added.

And here are the stamp sets I've used to make it easier for you to find

Christmas Flourished Verses

and Chickadee Ornament

Recipe:

Paper:  PTI Ripe Avocado, Vintage Cream, Recollections Naughty or Nice DP

Stamps:  ODBD Christmas Flourished Verses and  Chickadee Ornament (I only used the "To: Love:" stamps from that set)

Ink:  VersaFine Onyx Black, Tim Holtz Distressing Ink Aged Mahogany

Accessories: Spellbinders Beaded Circles, Labels 28, Cheery Lynn Designs Fanciful Flourish, moss green grosgrain ribbon, clear rhinestone brads, poinsettia flowers from a flower spray I bought at Michael's, red and green dew drops, Dusty Olive seam binding.

So, what do you think? I thought this would make a sweet little gift and the recipients could use it to put on their gifts or gift bags. I did tie the seam binding into a bow just to make it easier to photograph. The seam binding is 14" long and should be long enough to tie unto a handle or some other ribbon and still get a nice size bow at the top.

Well, this is it for my project for this wonderful Hop. From here I will send you off to my German buddy the super talented Silke.

Thanks so much for stopping by today for a visit! I do appreciate you taking the time and leaving me a comment.

Have a blessed day!

Hugs,

Sabrina

It's a Fall card!

Hello and happy Monday stamping friends!  The other day I had some time to stamp a quick card and this is what came out. For this one I've used one of the October Release stamp sets by Our Daily Bread Designs which is called "Pumpkin Wreath" and in combination with some older Basic Grey paper called Pyrus, that has some pretty Fall colors I came up with this

Our God

Recipe:

Paper:  PTI Rustic Cream, Ripe Avocado, Recollections Kraft, Basic Grey Pyrus

Stamps: ODBD Pumpkin Wreath

Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa, Tim Holtz Distressing Ink  Tea Dye and Vintage Photo

Accessories: Cheery Lynn Designs French Pastry doily die, Fanciful Flourish, Spellbinders Labels 8, Toffee colored seam binding, cotton crochet lace in cream, harvest gold colored lace, loop trim, Memory Box Nestled Bird die, Mulberry sprig

Size: 5.5" x 5.5"

What do you think? Isn't this Basic Grey paper not perfect for a Fall card?

Well, this is it for me. Gotta run and get my little one from school. I wonder how the first day of school went after being home for 3 weeks. :D  She did not want to go to school this morning. ;D

Thanks so much for stopping by. It is always a joy to read your comments.

Have a blessed and super creative day!

A blue and peaceful Christmas

Hello and good Friday morning stamping friends!  I am popping in to share a card I've made. With my girls being home for three weeks for their Fall break I did not get much stamping done, but I was able to sneak in  little time and create this very blue and white Christmas card. For my card I've used  the set "O Christmas Tree" and a bunch of embellishments. Have a look and see for yourself

P e a c e

I am not sure you can see, but I sprayed the image layer with Lindy's Stamp Gang Glitz Spritz in Scintillating Silver and the shimmer is amazing. It looks like snow crystals :D. Maybe a little side shot of the card will show it a little better

For that extra little touch I also added a little dove, I don't know about you, but when I think of peace the peace dove comes to mind, so I've added one.

Recipe:

Paper: Classics Card stock in silver gray, SU Buckaroo Blue, PTI White,  The DP I believe is BoBunny, but if I am wrong please correct me. :D

Stamps: ODBD "O Christms Tree"

Ink: VersaFine Onyx Black, VersaMark, opaque white embossing powder

Accessories: Lindy's Stamp Gang Glitz Spritz in Scintillating Silver, white Mulberry roses, acrylic flowers, Zva Creative pearl flourishes, Recollections half pearls, Deco Art Glamour Dust, clear rhinestone gem, small dove, Spellbinders Floral Ovals, Petite Ovals Large, Decorative Labels 1, lace with pearl trim

So, what do you think? I know this is not a card you want to mass produce and mail out, but I thought for a very special friend, lovingly wrapped in lots of bubble wrap and mailed with a little extra care it would be alright. ;D

Oh, before I leave you, I have an announcement to make. Since 48 hours have passed since I announced the winner of  the Birthday Hop candy I was giving in honor of Kelley's 50th Birthday, my first pick has not contacted me, so I did use Random.org again and this time it pulled  Cindy K..

Cindy K.  please contact me right here on my Blog or via e-mail at sjbutterflydreams at gmail dot com. You also will have 48 hours to contact me.

Edited: Sorry, Cindy K. time has run out!!!

Well, this is it for me for today, got a busy last day of Fall break lined up. Thanks so very much for stopping by and I hope I was able to inspire you with my card.

Thanks for looking and have a wonderfully blessed day!

Hugs,
