Hey y'all!!!!!

How are you guys doing on this Tuesday? I have been busy this morning (kind of needed some therapy, if you know what I mean!?) and I was able to make 3 cards. YEP, you've heard right :D:D:D. My first card is for the month of June Divine Design Bible Verse Challenge over at SCS, which I have enjoyed over the last few months. I tell you, those cards come in very handy for friends at church and my MIL ;D. This month I chose a stamp from Sweet n' Sassy from "The Word" set. Yesterday I received my order from PTI with some more of Nicole's awesome cs and the DP "Black and White Basics" let me tell you, this is some gorgeous paper. A bit on the modern side, but that is a good change ever so often from my Vintage style ;D. I picked out this circle kind of paper where one circle goes into another and is somewhat appropriate for my scripture I am using, 1 Peter 1:23, which says in the end "....which liveth and abideth for ever" just like those circles symbolize never ending. Kind of liked that. Have a look and see for yourself. Off course I had to stay just a little bit true to my style and add a stick pin ;P.

All right, you all probably know that on Monday's over at SCS they have the CAS (Clean and simple) challenge and this weeks colors are "Kraft, Coral and one coordinating color" so, to make a long story short I jumped on board and made this ever so simple card. Since I did not have any coral colored cs I went with a coral colored Prima that I have been hoarding for quite some time (too bad Joann stopped selling these gorgeous flowers, I think I'll have to contact their customer service ;D) and some ever so gorgeous striped ribbon from Sharon Johnson's Stamp Simply Ribbon Store. If you have not been over there to check out Sharon's store, you all are missing out on some of the most wonderful ribbon you'll ever want to put your fingers on. Really, it is May Arts ribbon and it is so luscious and soft. Very easy to work with. The stamp I've used for this simple card is from the $-bin over at Mike's. Yep, I have not been to Mike's in a while and yesterday I decided to pack up my kids and take them there before we headed to the grocery store. I did not buy much for myself, but my kids are big, and I mean big on crafty activities, so I bought them a bunch of stuff to get them out of my hair for a minute or two (you all know what I am talking about, right?) I am sure I am not the only Mom, that does that and tries to find some time to get away and stamp in peace for a minute, right!?!?! Anyhow, here is my

This I say too much? Super simple card, but I like the effect the BIG Prima has.

On to numero tres. I need to make a card in the colors red/white. Well, I don't really have much red cs so I went with some DP and my choice was some paper from the Basic Grey Cupcake pad. It is really not that red, but more of a muted red, almost an orangy red, but I thought it worked pretty well. Some time back I bought a used stamp set and it screamed to be inked up for this card. To follow the rules for this challenge in one of the Yahoo Groups I am signed up for, I had to use some kind of cuttlebugging ( I know that is not really a word, sorry) so I've decided on running my DP through the Cuttlebug with the divine swirls embossing folder. It is there, but you can barely see it. I also used my Nesties Labels 1 dies to make the label, so I actually have two parts of my card cuttlebugged ;D. For my ink I've chosen Chalk Box Blush Rose, which almost matched the DP. To tie it all together I added some silver accents which include a small heart charm (without the shank) and a trademark of mine a stick pin. Oh, for my bow I used one of my Bow Easy tools. Yep, I have two and the reason for that is, that I was on a waiting list at Sharon Johnson's store for it while I entered a comment on Jenny Gropps blog and actually won one. Me, Sabrina won something. I never win anything, no really. This is one reason why I very and I mean very rarely enter any blog candies, because I never even dream about it. I actually forgot all about my entry for this one, when Jenny contacted me for my snail mail. I was doing a happy dance :D:D:D. At first I was having a hard time with that thing, but I've gotten a hang of it and really like the way the bows look. I am still making regular bows, but for some of them where the bulk would just be way too much I am reaching now for my Bow Easy!!! :D:D.
