Good evening my friends.....

on this hot, yep hot day in Arizona :D. Hope you all had a wonderful day and besides cleaning got some stampin done ;P. I sure did, and let me tell you, it felt good!!!!!


Last week I participated in Sharon Johnson's challenge where she asked to use red, white and blue, but I never uploaded the card. Don't ask me why, I just simply forgot (must be that I am getting older {seriously rolls eyes!!!!}) So, today you'll get to see what I've created for that challenge and for this weeks challenge. Sharon always has fun challenges and there are usually very few rules, and I am all for that :D:D:D. Pretty simple card, but I like the outcome :D.


For this weeks challenge I made two cards. Earlier today I picked up my Basic Grey Gypsy DP off of the floor and it was just calling to be used. So my first card evolved from there. After looking through the pad I decided on the different flowers paper and since this pad has lots of bright colors in it I paired it with SU Apricot Appeal and PTI white.


Next I had to choose a stamp and after searching for the right one, I remembered that I had bought a Unity stamp, the butterfly one a while back and only used it like once. Have a look and see at my

Accessories: Nesties petite scalloped ovals large, PTI Summer Sunrise satin ribbon, orange Primas in 2 sizes, bead end caps, half pearls, Martha Stewart 3 butterflies punch, dimensionals

Do you like what you see or are you too blinded by the brightness, LOL!!!! I am not a bright colors kind of girl, but it is a spring/summer kind of color. Reminds me of my Marigolds I planted under my tree in the front yard, but it is soooooooooo very hot here, that I hardly can keep up watering them. All right, on to the next one. The second card for Sharon's challenge is much more muted in color ;P, and I must say that this color combo is one of my favorites.

It's something about this color combo that is soothing in a way. Maybe it's just me, but for me this combo is relaxing.
