Good Wednesday Morning.........

my friends. Hope you all are doing well and are ready for a little something :D.

I wanted to post these cards yesterday, but my computer was not acting right, so I had to wait for hubby to come home and have a look. All is well, so I hope this goes through. My first card is for this weeks, well, Monday's CAS (Clean And Simple) challenge over at SCS. This card is real simple, maybe a little too simple, but I had fun making it :D.

HELLO

Recipe:

Paper: PTI Vintage Cream, K&Company Wild Saffron

Ink: Chalk Box peach pastel, burnt sienna for softening the edges of the flower center, SU Chocolate Chip for the sentiment

Stamp: Hello from the Inkadinkado Set Occasion I bought last year at Costco

Accessories: EK Success edger punch, Prima in rust, circle punches in 1 3/8" and 1 1/2", dimensionals

This card started out as a 5.5"x5.5" card but after I decided I wanted to use my new EK Success edger punch it shrunk ;P to about 5 1/4"x5 1/4". But I really like that edge. I think I am getting a little addicted to this CAS thing. If you want to find out more about this challenge here is the link http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=428988

For people like me, who like lots of embellishments and ribbon and stuff it is truly a CHALLENGE!!!! But it is kind of fun to step out of the normal and try something new:D.

The second card is one that I made a little while ago, but did not feel as though it was worth posting. When I got my new Cricut cartridge Storybook I just had to play around for a while, you all know how that goes, right? You get a new toy and you just gotta try it out. So while I was trying it out I ran across this cool border function and I cut it at the normal size and let me tell you it was huge!!!! So I scaled it down to only 1.5 " and it came out perfect for an A2 card

Many Thanks

Recipe:
Paper: SU Chocolate Chip, PTI Vintage Cream
Ink: SU Chocolate Chip
Stamp: SU Elegant Cheer
Accessories: Cuttlebug embossing folder Textile, Nesties Labels 4,
swirly Prima's, pearl brad from Mike's Bridal section, Cricut Expression Storybook cartridge, Kaiser Chocolate half pearls, dimensionals.

What you all think about this one? Maybe I should not have posted it. I did like the border but I am not sure how it all came together.

All right, this is it for now. I'll have to go and do my chores ;P. Lots of clothes to wash and put 2 baskets I washed and dried last night to put away. Groceries, and some other errands, so I hope I'll get to play at least for a minute later this afternoon.

Thanks so much for stopping by my friends.

Hugs,
