Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound....

Hello and good Tuesday morning sweet stamping friends! I am coming to you this morning to share just one more card using one of the February Release stamps by Our Daily Bread Designs. I have to tell you, this one right here is one of my favorites as I love that hymn.....Amazing Grace!  This card is different from what I usually do, you all know that I mainly do 5.5"x5.5"  cards because I hate to waste my 6"x6"  paper, but for this one right here, I went outside of the usual and made a 4.25" x 5.5" card and love it. ;D

You know growing up we had one of those old time easel chalkboards that was a big as we were. When I went through my paper looking for some paper to use my eyes stopped at one of the My Minds Eye pads called Miss Caroline Howdy Doodle which had this wood wall like paper in it and I knew what I wanted to do. I love it when that happens.......don't you?

So, have a look at what I came up with. Oh, and since it was a little plain with just the wood panel paper and the chalk board it decided to add a few flowers, can't hurt, right? :D:D:D

and this is the side view

Recipe:

Paper:  Recollections Kraft, PTI Fine Linen, True Black, White, My Minds Eye Miss Caroline Howdy Doodle

Stamps: ODBD Chalkboard Amazing Grace

Ink: VersaFine Onyx Black

Well, what do you think? I hope I was able to inspire you today. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me, my contact information is in the sidebar.

Thanks so much for stopping by for a visit today, I truly appreciate it a lot.

Hugs and blessings,

Wonderful, I always wanted a chalkboard like this when I was little. Love the touch of flowers. It looks as pretty as can be.
