Happy New Year and welcome....

to the Our Daily Bread designs January Release Blog Hop! If you got here from Becca's  amazing Blog, you are in the right place. If not you might want to start at the Our Daily Bread designs Blog and start from the beginning. If you get lost along the way, simply return there, where the entire hop is listed with links.

Now, here are the Hop Details:

The Hop will run 8am EST Jan. 1, 2012  until 8pm EST Jan 2, 2012. The winners will be announced on the ODBD Blog on Jan 3, 2012. Five blessed hoppers will win a $20.00 Gift Certificate for ODBD Stamps!

Here is what you have to do to be qualified to win one of these prizes:

Hop to each designer’s blog and leave a comment. Return to the Our Daily Bread designs blog and leave a comment telling us that you completed the hop, making note if there were any you could not comment on. Answer the question on the ODBD blog when you leave your comment.

And here is what I came up with. These new stamps are so amazing, it was hard to pick one to create this card

A grungy kind of LOVE

and here is a look of the inside of my card

Recipe:

Paper:  PTI Rustic Cream, Dark Chocolate, Aqua Mist, Recollections Kraft, BoBunny Gabrielle

Stamps: ODBD God's Love

Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa, Martha Steward chalk ink in sea colors, Tim Holtz Distressing Ink  Vintage Photo, Antique Linen, Tea Dye

Accessories: Spellbinders Fleur De Lis Squares, Labels 16, chocolate pleated satin ribbon, hand dyed seam binding, Martha Stewart Butterfly punch, charm, Tim Holtz Distressing Tool

I don't know about you, but I love this color combo. I hope I was able to inspire you.

Now it is time to hop on over to the super talented Chris 's Blog.

Thanks for stopping by and allowing me to be part of your first day of the new year!!  May God bless you beyond measure in  2012!

Hugs,

I love that card and the way you stacked those dies! I have another one to buy now. Thanks for sharing. I love your work and your blog and I will be following after I leave this comment. As far as my New Years Res. I have a few so I'm leaving one on each blog until I run out. My next one is to loose a few pounds. I'm sure I'm. not alone on this one but I don't want it to get out of hand
When I was younger I would have never thought I'd have a weight problem but I got a rare disease and the only way to treat this was with steroids. They make you gain weight weather you eat or not. It made boils come up all over me. My mom said I looked like I had lepersy. If that is spelled right. There was only one other lady in the south east with this and she passed away from this illness. It affects your respiratory, eyes and others. I said all that to say this there is still no cure for this illness but I don't have it anymore because God healed me. So I know God will help me loose the weight I gained while taking the medication. God has been so good to me. I have never left a comment like this before but I felt this was the right time. God is Good!!!!!
