Are you ready for a recipe?

Hello and happy Saturday my stamping friends! Hope you all are having a great weekend so far and are ready for a new Shining the Light Challenge over at ODBD. This weeks challenge is a recipe, and a fun one for sure.

The recipe: At least 2 die shapes, dry embossed background, 1 sentiment

To make the challenge even more fun, we will be giving out a prize, a $15 gift certificate to be used toward stamps at the Our Daily Bread Designs store!! Entries for the prize must be submitted by Thursday, May 19. One random winner will be chosen and announced next Saturday. If you are not using ODBD stamps, please do not enter more than once. Additional entries without using ODBD stamps will not be commented on or will they qualify for prizes.

While it is not required to use Our Daily Bread Designs images and sentiments on your creations, we would love to see them if you have them.As a way of recognizing those who do use Our Daily Bread Designs stamps, we will again be choosing 1 to 2 creations to spotlight for our Shining the Light Award. In order to qualify for this award, however, you must use Our Daily Bread stamps and have your submission added to Mr. Linky by May 19 at 8 p.m. EST.If you upload your creations to Splitcoast Stampers or any other online gallery, please use the keyword is ODBDSLC60. When creating your posts on blogs please include a direct link to the challenge.

And here is what I came up with.

Paper: PTI Ripe Avocado, Rustic Cream, Pink Paislee Butterfly Garden

Stamps: ODBD Scripture Collection 5

Ink: Tim Holtz Distressing Ink Tattered Rose, ODBD Olive

Accessories: Spellbinders Lacey Ovals, Labels 18, Baby Pink crinkled seam binding, Wild Orchid Crafts flowers, Prima Rose from the Love Letter Collection, handmade stickpin, Zva Creative corner pearl flourish, Cuttlebug embossing folder Kassie's Brocade, cream cotton crochet lace from my stash

Well, do you think I measured everything right?  :D:D

If you need some more ideas for this recipe make sure you head on over to see what

Rosemary (May/June Guest Designer)

have come up with. I will warn you, they will knock you out :D:D

I am blown away every week what these wonderful and talented ladies come up with and it is truly a joy to be part of this fun bunch.

To find out what else is going on over at ODBD make sure you'll head on over to ODBD Blog.

Well, this is it for me for today.  I have to attend a Prayer Breakfast this morning. Our Pastor's son is being honored, he is graduating from High School and has a FULL scholarship and his sister, bless her little heart, she is only 16 is graduating too!!  Isn't that a blessing?   Anyhow, I am proud of them. I first met them when they were the age my two girls are now.

Anyhow, thanks for stopping by my sweet friends and I hope I was able to inspire you a little today.

Have a blessed weekend and have fun creating!
