here in Southern Arizona. Hope you all had a fabulous weekend! I have some exciting news. Remember that very shabby chick card I shared with you all on Friday? Well, it was amongst the Terrific Top 3 at the CR84FN Color Challenge ....YEAH!!! This was my first time playing and I think I found a challenge that I will be playing quite a bit now. ;D See, Mona chooses colors that you would usually not necessarily use together and for me that is one more reason to get out of my comfort zone. :D:D
As a Terrific Top 3 you'll get this badge right here
I will display it on the sidebar, but wanted to share with you all!! :D:D
Also, I have a card to share with you that I made last week and totally forgot to post.
I am still using my Basic Grey Curio paper...I tell ya, I can't get enough of that stuff. It is just too awesome to put out of sight!
So here we go, this is my
Oh sing to the Lord......
card. And these are the ingredients I've used to put it together.
Recipe:
Paper: PTI Rustic Cream, Dark Chocolate, Lemon Tart, Basic Grey Curio
Stamps: ODBD Sing To The Lord
Ink: Tim Holtz Distressing Ink Vintage Photo, Tea Dye
Accessories: Spellbinders Neastabilities Lacey Squares, Labels 16, May Arts brown crochet lace, scalloped lace from my stash, Prima Winter Rose Vanilla Ice, handmade stick pin, Studio 112 (Joann's $ bin) half pearls, foam tape
I know I have been making a lot of my stick pins again, but they just feel right with this yummy Curio paper! :D:D
Well, this it is for today. Thanks so much for stopping by to make my day.
Remember tomorrow is "New Release Day" over at Our Daily Bread Designs, you sure don't want to miss these amazing new stamp sets. Some of my Design Sisters have shown sneak peeks and if you are struggling with masculine cards, this release will change that forever!!!! Oh, before I forget, there will be some AWESOME prizes to win as well, so mark you calendar. I will be hopping along side you as I can't wait to see what these super talented ladies have come up with!
