Happy Saturday......

morning my stamping friends!!! I hope you all had a fabulous week and tons of time to stamp. I did not have much time as both of my girls were sick :C. I guess that is how it is after 3 weeks of Fall break when everybody gets back together ;D. They are not 100%, but much better and no more fever.

Anyhow, you did not come here to hear about my girls, you want to know what this weeks Shining the Light Challenge over at Our Daily Bread Designs will be, right? Well, for challenge # 36 we are asking you to use gold/silver cording or twine, hemp cord etc.  I know for me this is not usually a go to item, so I had to dig a little and find mine in my big basket of "stuff",LOL!!

To make the challenge even more fun, we will be giving out a prize , a $ 15 gift certificate to be used toward stamps at the Our Daily Bread Designs store!! Entries for the prize must be submitted by Thursday, November 11. One random winner will be chosen and announced next Saturday.

While it is not required to use Our Daily Bread Designs images and sentiments on your creations, we would love to see them if you have them.As a way of recognizing those who do use Our Daily Bread Designs stamps, we will again be choosing 1 to 2 creations to spotlight for our Shining the Light Award. In order to qualify for this award, however, you must use Our Daily Bread stamps and have your submission added to Mr. Linky by November 11 at 8 p.m. EST.If you upload your creations to Splitcoast Stampers or any other online gallery, please use the keyword is ODBDSLC36. When creating your posts on blogs please include a direct link to the challenge.

All right, let me show you what I came up with. I made a Christmas card, to get started, ya know ;D;D

Merry Christmas

Hi Sabrina~
I think this card is beautifully made. I love the flower with the pleats in it! Do you have a tutorial of how to make that somewhere? I would love to know! I can't figure out how it attachs to the card!

The dp is so pretty, especially at this time of year. I like the placing of the little poinsettia. And, the banner underneath is fabulous! Of course, you have that big dramatic bow with the cording. I don't know if it would truly be one of your cards with out a flower or a bow...and this has both! So incredible, my friend.

All over beauty on this one for sure! Love the colors. It looks as though you can take the center piece off and use it as an ornament! Wouldn't that be cool?
