Good Saturday morning....

my stamping friends!!! I hope you all had a fabulous week and are ready for the weekend and some creative time ;D. Our Daily Bread Designs Shining the Light Challenge is a good one and you won't want to miss it, are you ready?

Thanksgiving is just around the corner but since some of our viewers are from Canada or elsewhere and do not celebrate at this time of year, we are challenging you to create any holiday card (Thanksgiving, Christmas or etc.)

To make the challenge even more fun, we will be giving out a prize , a $ 15 gift certificate to be used toward stamps at the Our Daily Bread Designs store!! Entries for the prize must be submitted by Thursday, November 25, 2010. One random winner will be chosen and announced next Saturday.

While it is not required to use Our Daily Bread Designs images and sentiments on your creations, we would love to see them if you have them.As a way of recognizing those who do use Our Daily Bread Designs stamps, we will again be choosing 1 to 2 creations to spotlight for our Shining the Light Award. In order to qualify for this award, however, you must use Our Daily Bread stamps and have your submission added to Mr. Linky by November 25, 2010 at 8 p.m. EST.
If you upload your creations to Splitcoast Stampers or any other online gallery, please use the keyword is ODBDSLC38. When creating your posts on blogs please include a direct link to the challenge.

All right, since I would like to get a little of a head start for my Christmas cards this year, yes, I am one of those that waits until last minute to make the Christmas cards and usually don't finish them all :C, but this challenge allows me to get at least started ;D

Have a look and see my Holiday card

Wishing you a Blessed Christmas

Recipe:

Paper: PapertreyInk  Vintage Cream

Stamps: ODBD Blessed Christmas

Ink: VersaMark Filigree gold embossing powder, Tim Holtz Distressing Ink Tea Dye

Accessories:  ODBD Poinsettia Die,   Sizzix embossing folder Starry Night, Spellbinders Fancy Tags, cream cotton lace, gold tone ribbon, Studio112 half pearls,

I know this is not a typical Christmas color card, but I just loved the way the gold embossing looked against the Vintage Cream and the aged edges :D:D.

What do you think?

Are you ready to see what my teammates have created? Have a look and see what

Thanks so much for stopping by today and making my day a happy day!!
