Hello there......

my stamping friends, did you all miss me? Sorry, it has been a little over a week that I have posted, but as mentioned last week, my girls are on their Fall break and I try to keep them busy, if you know what I mean. ;D

I have two cards to share with you all today, so I hope you can forgive me for not posting last week.

All right, lets start with the first one. A little while back I bought some more paper, yeah, I know, I have too much paper to begin with, but I just had to have it,hehe!! It is called Rhubarb Tart and is by Memory Box, it has been out for a while, I just never bought it...until now ;D. Have a look and see how I've used some of this yummy paper

on I go and prepare a place......

Recipe:
Paper: PTI White, Kraft, Memory Box Rhubarb Tart

Stamps: ODBD Scripture Collection 2  John 14:3

Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa, Tim Holtz Distressing Ink Tea Dye, Frayed Burlap

Accessories: Nesties Labels 17, caramel colored lace, hand dyed seam binding, handmade stick pin with antique brass spacer beads and glass beads, Recollections half pearls, Tim Holtz Distressing Tool, handmade lollipop flower

What do you think? This was my first attempt to make one of those lollipop flowers and I must say, you need the right tools, 'cause if you don't you get real frustrated real quick, LOL!!

For my second card I went to some more girlie colors and very Vintage. Again, I had to use some of this very addicting hand dyed seam binding which I weaved through my cotton lace and tied it into a bow. Now let's add some pretty roses and some other embellishments and viola you get this

The Lord your God is with you.....

Recipe:

Paper: PTI White, SU Certainly Celery, DCWV light blue textured card stock, K&Company Classic K Charlotte

Stamps: ODBD Scripture Series 1   Zephania 3:17

Ink: VersaFine Onyx Black, Tim Holtz Distressing Ink Shabby Shutters

Accessories: Nesties Lacey Circles, white cotton crochet lace, hand dyed seam binding, paper roses, Prima leaves, antique heart button, Maya Road Leaf Trinket Pins, Recollections silver half pearls, blue half pearls, foam tape, 3D glue dots

Let me tell you, it was so much fun creating these cards, it sure was "Therapy Time" and I so enjoyed it,hehe!!

Well, off to hit the grocery store real quick. Thanks for stopping by today and I hope that I was able to inspire you.

Hugs,

I was going to call out a search party tomorrow, if I didn't hear anything by tonight! I missed you and was starting to worry a little. I forgot about the girls being home, lol. Both of your cards are fab-u-luss! The lollipop flower came out great, so very pretty. I have to click on them to really see the details. People are missing out if they don't! Have a great week!

Sabrina, I love the monochromatic color in your first card. I also think that your lollipop flowers came out wonderful. But every thing you do comes out wonderfull. I lve that you added one of your beautiful stick pins.

Your second card is so different from the first in that you used many light colors. Both cards are gorgeous in thier own way. I love the crochet ribbon that you used as well as the silver heart. Oh if only Icould make cards the way that you do. Perfection!

I hope you had lots of fun with your girls. :)

Hugs,
Mary

Sabrina...both of these cards are WOW! I love the elegance and the way the first card is monochromatic. It is beautiful.

I really love the colors and the lace of the second card. I love the Vintage look, because we can make it so "girly!" This looks so fresh, and I love the sentiment. Wonderful!
