Hello Stamping friends......

are you ready for Our Daily Bread Designs Shining the Light Challenge # 14?








This week the challenge team is challenging you to create a Card or gift with a sentiment as the focal point!!





To make the challenge even more fun, we will be giving out a prize, a $15 gift certificate to be used toward stamps at the Our Daily Bread Designs store!! Entries for the prize must be submitted by Thursday, May 27. One random winner will be ch osen and announced next Saturday.





While it is not required to use Our Daily Bread Designs images and sentiments on your creations, we would love to see them if you have them.As a way of recognizing those who do use Our Daily Bread Designs stamps, we will again be choosing 1 to 2 creations to spotlight for our Shining the Light Award. In order to qualify for this award, however, you must use Our Daily Bread stamps and have your submission added to Mr. Linky by May 27 at 8 p.m. EST.If you upload your creations to Splitcoast Stampers or any other online gallery, please use the keyword is ODBDSLC14. When creating your posts on blogs please include a link to the challenge. These guidelines are also posted on the ODBD Blog





This challenge was really a no brainer for me ;D...I am addicted to scripture stamps (if you did not know that already,LOL)!!! For my creation I kept it real simple....I did not even use ribbon, can you believe that?

Paper: PTI White, Bazzill textured green cs, Basic Grey Sultry

Stamps: ODBD Scripture Collection 2

Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa, Chalk Ink pink

Accessories: Nesties Labels 5, handmade crochet flowers, Recollections silver half pearl brad, silver open heart charm, pink half pearls

See, I've told you all that I made a CAS card ;D, I really wanted to focus on the scripture.

Hello Sbarina - I would have picked this as your card without seeing your name - it is truly 'you!' You have a warmth that just flows from your cards - it is a great quality to have, especially on faith based cards! This is such a lovely card. The paper is so pretty and the crocheted flowers finish it off just perfectly. You reminded me that I made some flowers myself and have forgotten to use them.
