It is Saturday and time for.....

another ODBD Shining the Light Challenge. Can you believe we are already at challenge # 6? WOW, time sure flies when you are having fun!!! This week we were challenged by our awesome team leader Chris to think Spring and New Life. Since today is the first day of Spring, create something for Spring using Spring colors and images portraying New Life. Don't you just think that this is perfect for an Easter Creation being that we are 'New Creatures in Christ' !!!! I have tried to incorporate both....Spring colors and a scripture to say just that...being a new creature as this wonderful scripture Galatians 2:20 explains.

"I have been crucified with Christ,

I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.

The life I live in the body,

I live by Faith in the Son of God,

who loved me and gave himself for me."

Have a look at my creation

New Life

Paper:PTI White, DCWV textured pink, K&Company Wild Raspberry

Stamps: ODBD He is Risen

Ink: Palette Moulin Rouge, Chalk Ink in pink

Nesties Labels 5, Spellbinders Cross Dies, pink half pearls (from my stash ;D), Recollections silver half pearl brad, pink sheer ribbon (from my stash from Japan), Prima dark pink Daisy, cs confetti from Mike's Bridal Section, foam tape, 3 D glue dot

Well, what do you think, does this look like Spring and New Life?

If you need a little more inspiration head on over to my teammates

as they sure have come up with some super projects.

As in the past weeks of our Shining the Light Challenge you have until Thursday, which is March 25th, 2010 to upload your creation to the ODBD Blog to Mr. Linky leaving a link to your blog, if you upload your creation to another online gallery like SCS please use the keyword ODBDSLC6
so we will be able to identify your card or project for this challenge. Even though it is not a requirement to use ODBD stamps and images, we highly encourage you to do so if you have them. And if you do use your ODBD stamps and you upload to Mr. Linky by Thursday, March 25th, 2010 at 8:00 p.m. EST you will have the chance of being chosen to receive the Shining the Light Challenge Award, but this is only if you use ODBD stamps ;D;D;D.

All participants have a chance of being chosen by random to win a $ 15.00 gift certificate going toward a stamp purchase at the ODBD store and will be announced next Saturday.

So, get out you stamps and get creating. I am looking forward seeing each and every one of your entries.

Thanks for stopping by today!!

Hugs and blessings,

This is a gorgeous card, Sabrina! I have the cross dies but don't yet have the labels 5 nesties, so I'm rapidly thinking about what I can do for that instead. The colors are beautiful, and you added just the right touches to add up to a stunning card. Thanks so much for sharing it!

Hello Sabrina~~

You have done it again! Yes, this card is very much a reminder of spring, a reminder of new life, and something that is truly beautiful. I love whe verse you have chosen, and the cross you have made reminds me of His love, and gentleness. I mean, he takes care of the birds...very gentle. He beats enemies...very strong. Today, your fabulous bow- reminds me of an agreement being joined. I look at this card...with lots of love--for us...from Him, and for you the artist that put all of this beauty on one little spot. Thanks you so much for sharing this today. It put a big smile on my face, and blurry tears in my eyes.

Hi again, Sabrina~~

Wow! I just realized that there is music on your blog. I thought Grace was the only one, because I had to hit play--myself--hers goes on quietly as soon as I open her blog.

I LOVE this Praise Music. The song, Sanctuary...I don't know the whole title. Wow! It is my favorite on here. I am moving around and praising Him. Even while I am typing this comment to you...well it is wonderful. I love it...but this dancing in my chair doesn't make for the best coloring details ever! LOL Thanks for sharing this with me.

To anyone else who doesn't know...there is music available on the very bottom of her blog...all the way down... AWESOME PRAISE MUSIC!
