Hello and WELCOME.......

to the very first challenge hosted by the ODBD Challenge Team!!!! I am....and I think I can speak for all of us of this wonderful team, that we are super excited to have weekly challenges and hope that you will join us!!

For our FIRST challenge we thought, since Valentines Day is quickly coming up, we will challenge you to use HEARTS on your project. The hearts can be on your designer paper, in you image, on your embellishments (ribbons, pearls, gems, charms you name it).

To make this challenge even more fun, we (ODBD) will be giving out a prize, a $15 gift certificate to be used toward stamps at the Our Daily Bread Designs Store!!! If you want to win all entries for the prize must be submitted on the ODBD Blog by Thursday February 11, 2010 by 8 PM EST!!

One random winner will be chosen and announced next Saturday. While it is not required to use Our Daily Bread Designs images and sentiments on your creations, we would love to see them if you have them.

As a way of recognizing those who do use Our Daily Bread Designs stamps, we will also be choosing, 1 to 2 creations to spotlight for our Shining the Light Award!!!! In order to qualify for this award, however, you MUST use Our Daily Bread Designs stamps and have your submission added to Mr.Linky by February 11, 2010 at 8PM EST!!!!!

If you upload your creations to SCS (Splitcoast Stampers) or any other online gallery, please use the keyword ODBDSLC1. If you post your creation on your personal Blog, please include a direct link to the challenge.

Now are you ready to see what I came up with? See I wanted to use lots of HEARTS :D:D:D and this is what I came up with

You have a special place in my heart

Recipe:

Stamp: ODBD Thinking of You

Ink: SU Close to Cocoa

Accessories: Nesties Labels 6, Martha Stewart Lace Heart edger punch, off white trim, Prima, antique heart shaped button, Recollections half pearls, foam tape.

So, what do you think, did I incorporate enough hearts for this challenge? :D:D:D

I tell you, this was really fun but wait you've gotta head on over to the other gals of the TEAM they will knock your socks off, really!! So, grab yourself a cup of coffee or tea and sit back and relax for a minute and get some inspiration from

Thanks so much for stopping by today and making this day extra special!!! I hope you like my card and got some inspiration!! Now get on into that stamp room and create...I am so looking forward seeing what you come up with. :D:D

Your card is so beautiful Sabrina. The heart button in the center of your flower is lovely. Leave it to you to pay close attention to detail! I am a huge fan of the MS punches so I have this one and I love the way that you made it a double border. As for the stamp that you used..............I have that too, I love the ODBD stamp sets. This stamp is quite elegant.
Have a wonderful Sunday.
