Welcome........

to the Our Daily Bread Designs Challenge Team Hop! If you came on over here from Christine Okkens wonderful Blog "ChristineCreations" you are in the right place, if not, you might want to go back to the ODBD Blog and start over. We have lots of fun and a chance to win, so we don't want you to miss out.
But wait, before we get into all of the hopping and huntin' I'll give a little bit of what is happening at ODBD, all right?

See, I had to keep my mouth zipped for the last month or so and now I can finally scream it from the roof tops :D:D:D. Starting on February 6th I will be officially be part of the ODBD Challenge Team, YEAH!!!!!! See, God is good and I tell ya' if you do what he tells you to do, you will be rewarded. My reward is being on this team and being able to spread the word about his goodness through what I love most......stamping. I am forever grateful for being on a wonderful team of very, and I mean that in every sense of the word, TALENTED ladies that shine every time they pick up ODBD stamps. It is going to be 7 of us, including the Glowbug (as most of you know her) herself, Chris Olsen as Team Leader/Coordinator and these wonderful ladies

Christine Okken - ChristineCreations -

Natalie Dever - Dougnat Diaries -

Francie Gumprecht - Francies Fancy -

Sabrina Jackson - (that's me ;D;D)

Patter Cross - Triple the Scraps -

America Kuhn - Cards by America -

So, starting on February 6, 2010 we will start our first official challenge as a team, which will be called "Shining the Light" .These challenges are weekly and there is lots of fun planned, so be sure to mark your calendar and come back ;D;D.

Today the new team has a lot of fun planned for you with a Blog Hop and Scavenger Hunt!!!!!

You will have the opportunity to meet all of the above named ladies of the team and view their amazing creations and hunt for the item of the scavenger hunt which will be revealed in just a minute!!!

One very blessed hopper who e-mails Chris Olsen all the correct items and places where they found these items will be randomly chosen to win the

stamp set!! Which was the very first stamp set Kelley came out with.

Here is the list of what you need to find on the blogs for the scavenger hunt:

1. red ric rac

2. Psalm 28:7

3. mittens

4. damask

5. palm trees

6. daisies

7. polka dotted tea pot

(please note that all items are on sidebars or heading bars and backgrounds, NOT in the posts themselves!!!!!)

The names of the participating team members are the same as I listed above in the introduction! If you should find missing links, simply check back here for the next person in the list and mention in your comment that you were not able to comment on that person's post. This Hop/Scavenger Hunt is meant to be FUN FOR ALL.... NOT frustration!! It's a game with a chance to win a "Light of the World" stamp set...and we understand if someones blog is "down". Often you can try again later and get on..but if you try and can't leave a comment on someones blog, simply tell us in your end comment who you were not able to get and we will still enter you in the drawing!!

So, all you have to do to be eligible to win is:

1. Complete the hop, leaving comments on EACH blog and return to the ODBD blog and tell us you have visited each blog and left a comment.

2. E-mail Chris Olsen at chrisolsenodbd@aol.com with the names of the items and the blogs you found them at (eg. Kelley - loaf of bread)

3. Do this by Thursday January 28,2010 at 8:00 PM EST.

4. Check back on the ODBD blog on Saturday January 30,2010 to see who the winner is!!

But before you leave I'd like to share with you what I have created for this fun Blog Hop. Have a look

You are the Light....

Recipe:

Paper: PTI Kraft, SU Bashful Blue, PTI White

Stamp: ODBD Light of the World

Ink: VersaFine OnyxBlack, Chalk Box Kraft, Su Bashful Blue

Accessories: Nesties deckled rectangles large, antique copper mini brads, yellow Dew Drop (for the lighthouse light), Tim Holtz Distressing Tool, Cuttlebug embossing folder Forest Branches(the negative side is shown to make it look like water)

This is my first card, but I have one more for you ;D. Yep, I just could not contain myself, hehe.

My second card is totally different and I had to take two shots of it...one for the outside and one for the inside of the card. Since I could not get myself to cut up this fabulous DP by K&Company called Blue Awning (I bought like 3 12x12 pads of it...shhh... don't tell my DH ;D) I went with a 5.5x5.5 card.

The Lord is my Light.....

Recipe:
Paper: PTI Kraft, Bazzill shades of green textured card stock, K&Company Blue Awning
Stamp: same as above Light of the World but Psalm 27:1
Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Ink Tea Dye, Old Paper, SU Mellow Moss, Certainly Celery, Chalk Box Yellow Cadmium, VersaFine Onyx Black
Accessories: Nesties Circles large, Petite Ovals Large, Jute ribbon, Olive satin ribbon, EK Success Diamond lace edger punch, pearl lettuce Dew Drops, antique copper cross charm, foam tape
Wheew.....that was one LONG post...sorry, but I hope that the Blog Hop/Scavenger Hunt will make up for it ;D.
Thanks so much for stopping by today and make sure you leave each and every one of us new gals some love. To make the time go by faster get yourself a cup of coffee or tea and enjoy the amazing eye candy that is waiting on you!! Your next stop will be Patter Cross over at Triple the Scraps
We will see you for our first OFFICIAL challenge on February 6, 2010 bright and early.
Hugs,

I could not leave a comment at Francie's Fancy b/c I don't have an account with any of the choices she had for posting, but I thought the bold yellow reflected Christ's glory for all to see.
