Happy Monday......

my friends. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I have been taking it easy and really have not done much. Last week, whenever I was able to squeeze in a few minutes, while my little one watched a movie or was watching her favorite show on TV , I was able to create a little at the time and so I will show you a few things throughout the week that I have been working on.

But today I will show you a card that I just made a few minutes ago ;D. The other day I received some of Basic Grey's yummy Christmas paper Wassail (I know it is last years paper ;D) and I knew I wanted to use it on this card. As you already know I don't like to waste much of the 6x6 paper pads, so this card is 5.5x5.5 to take advantage of most of my DP :D! I also used a long, long retired stamp set from SU called Mother & Child I bought from someone last year and had it just sitting in my cabinet...until today ;D! My card is pretty simple but speaks louder than words..I think! Have look and see for yourself

For unto us....

Recipe:

Paper: PTI Vintage Cream, SU Chocolate Chip, Basic Grey Wassail

Stamps: SU Mother & Child, CDS Christmas Scripture # 5922

Ink: Chalk Box Chestnut Roan, Tim Holtz Distress Ink Tea Dye

Accessories: Nesties Labels 1, Recollections half pearls, Foam Tape

So, what you all think? Don't you think that these two stamp sets go well together? When I decided to use this scripture stamp I just had to go with the Mother and child.

I have another creation to post today, but this one is non Christmas. One of my neighbors had a Birthday over the weekend and I found out last minute....so I whipped up a little something.

The little bag is a 2-5-7-10 bag (tutorial is on SCS in the resource section) which is big enough for a handful of Lindt Truffles I had to hide them as they disappear really quick in my house, hehe!!! To make the set complete I made a little card for it as well. Check it out

Recipe:
Paper: PTI white, K&Company Amy Butler pad

Stamps: ODBD Thinking of You, SU Oval All

Ink: SU Certainly Celery, Chalk Box Chestnut Roan

Accessories: Nesties scalloped ovals large, Recollections half pearls, white satin ribbon, Scor-Pal, EK Success med. corner rounder

All right, this is it for now. I will share a few more projects throughout the week. Thanks so much for stopping by today and a BIG Thank You to all of you that sent me well wishes. It really meant a lot to me. You guys are just the BEST!!!

Hugs,
