I am back.....

with another post, hehehe!!!! Can you believe that? WOW, mark the calendar. No really, I got to stamp for a minute before I had to pick up my oldest from school and it came all together pretty quick. I know I have been saying this a lot lately. The card I have for you all is a Birthday card I needed and it has to go into the mail tomorrow, so it gets to its recipient in time for the big day ;P.

Have you all checked out the Basic Grey DP's that are out there? I have been buying them like crazy over at http://www.electicpaperie.com/ for $ 3.00 a pad and I am loving each and every one of them. The one I used here is from the EVA pad. This paper was just way too pretty to do a lot of cutting, so I made another 5.5"x5.5" card. Pretty basic, but this paper is so gorgeous.

Happy Birthday

Recipe:
Paper: PTI white, Lavender Moon, Basic Grey EVA
Stamp: SU Warmest Regards
Ink: VersaFine Onyx Black
Accessories: Nesties Petite Ovals Large, pink crystals, handmade stick pin with pearls and pink glass beads (this stick pin base was purchased at http://www.cleardollarstamps.com/ so it is a lot larger (longer) than the headpin I usually use.
White satin ribbon from http://www.stampersdream.com/

So, would you like this card if it came to you in the mail?

It is almost 7 PM here and I have to get my kids prepared to clean up their mess and take a bath before bedtime.

Thanks for stopping by and a big hug,

That is some really cool paper - The pieces you added are just perfect - I love how the pin goes behind the oval!

Great card Sabrina! I know what it's like to have really pretty paper and not want to cover it up! I'm definitely going to have to check out those Basic Grey papers.

I haven't seen this yummy paper. It is terrific and not covering it up was a great way to make a quick card. I am still trying your crocheted flowers. I am frustrated. The loops are uneven. I think I need to count better. LOL. Great card. Love the stick pin...
