Good Tuesday morning.....

my stamping friends!!! Hope you all are having a good week so far. Yesterday I made a card for this weeks Shabby Tea Room Challenge where "Cottage Comfort" is the theme. Have you all checked it out? They are having an inspiration challenge and a fun one for sure! You can find out all of the details here and I have the inspiration picture right here

Doesn't this picture just look awesome? I love those colors and I knew right away that I can count on Basic Grey to help me out making this card ;D. I went through my stash and yes, EUREKA, there it was my trusty "Sugared" pad and wouldn't you believe it...the colors are almost a perfect match!!!!

So, to make a long story short here is my version of this weeks The Shabby Tea Room #15 challenge

When I pray, you answer me!!!!

Recipe:

Paper:PTI Rustic Cream, Dark Chocolate, Basic Grey Sugared

Stamps: ODBD Scripture Collection 2

Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa, Tim Holtz Distressing Ink Tea Dye, Antique Linen

Accessories: Nesties Standard Scalloped Circles Large, Standard Circles Large, ZVA Creative Topaz Rhinestone flourish
May Arts Crochet ribbon lace, handmade flower, ZVA Creative mini and med. sized roses, antique brass button, handmade stick pin with glass beads and antique brass stick pin and spacer beads, hand dyed ribbon

So, what do you think?

Doesn't this Basic Grey paper look almost like the bedding in the inspiration picture? I love it when I find the perfect paper...{sigh}.

Those mini flowers were originally white but my handful of Copic markers came in handy as I simply colored the white roses in to look a little more yellowish ;D.

Thanks for stopping by today...I'll have to head on over to the Shabby Tea Room to submit my card and get my girls ready for a little bit of out and about time.

See you all back soon!! Have a fabulous and creative day!!!

Hugs and blessings,

Very pretty, Sabrina! I love your embellishments--very comforting and sweet! Do you send these cards out in the mail, or just give them to people? OR do you just save them?! LOL!

Awesome take on the inspiration photo! This card is just gorgeous! BTW...I sent you a message on friend connect. I signed up and went through the whole thing, then it said you would reply through my g-mail, which I don't use, so I guess I won't be using that again. Just wanted you to know, if you do reply, I won't know it. **HUGS** :-]
