Always Believe banner project with Secret Garden Crafts

Hello friends!  Today I am coming to you with a sweet little project for Secret Garden Crafts that uses lots of flowers. The Design Team has created a banner. That might be just one banner panel, like I did,  or an entire banner with several panels. For my project I started out with a canvas banner panel that I had in my stash and I started layering all kinds of gorgeous flowers and other bits and pieces to create this

Always Believe

Secret Garden Crafts products used:

Hip rose buds in pink (from my stash from a previous purchase from Archana)

Other products used:

Canvas banner panel, seam binding in pink, wooden birdcage (dry brushed with white Gesso), pink tulle ribbon, pearl picks, word beads, 2 different white laces, bird, rhinestones, Stickles in Pink Taffeta (I used them to go over the stamens in the white flowers), berry fillers

I hope that you like today's project and would like to remind you that if you decide to purchase any of the flowers that I used, you can use my coupon  SJ10A to get 10% off of your purchase. If your purchase should be $50+ you will also receive FREE shipping!  Isn't that awesome?

To see what the rest of the team has come up with, please head on over to the Secret Garden Crafts Blog.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I will see you all next Wednesday!

Have a super creative day!

Happy Hump Day

Hello and Happy Hump Day friends! Today I am coming to you with a post for "Secret Garden Crafts", the new online paper flower store I've told you about last week. For my first post I've made a tag using all sorts of beautiful flowers. Have a look

For my tag I have used the following flowers from the Secret Garden Crafts store.

Tea Roses in light pink (from the mixed pink package)

Bourbon Roses in ivory

Sweetheart Roses in lilac

Gypsophila in baby pink /ivory

Wild Roses in white with dusky pink center

leaves

The filler picks that I have added are from my stash.

The lilac Sweetheart Roses and the Wild Roses in white with dusky pink center were toned down with white Gesso to match the paper better. This is just another way of using flowers that might not be the right shade to match your projects but can be adjusted with this simple trick.

I hope you like the tag that I have created. To see what the rest of the Design Team has come up with, please head on over to the Secret Garden Crafts Blog .

Before I say goodbye for today, I would like to let you all know that there is a coupon code that you can use during the month of August and get 10% off of your order. To make sure the code is working, please log into the website before you check out. Plus, if your order is $50 or more you will get FREE shipping. My coupon code is   SJ10A

Thanks so very much for stopping by today. I hope that my tag inspired you to use flowers on your projects.

Have a happy crafty day!

Hugs,

Happy Thursday!

Hello and happy Thursday! It has been a little while since I've posted, had to take a little break and spend some time with my girls. I can't believe I have a Junior and 7th grader on my hands now. Anyhow, today I have some very exciting news to share with you. Some of you may know that I was part of a challenge Blog a couple of years ago, with Archana Joshi. Well, my sweet friend asked me to be part of her brand new online store Secret Garden Crafts. Archana, has had a store for several years called Craftycity and has a variety of dies, papers, flowers and such. Archana also has a couple of Facebook stores and one of them is "The Secret Garden" where she sold mostly Wild Orchid Crafts flowers, then she added Saa flowers, which are also paper flowers. To make a long story short, Archana decided to combine her Craftycity store with the Secret Garden and now you can easily purchase her gorgeous flowers all in one spot, all you have to do is click on the logo at the Craftycity store and you will be directed to the "Secret Garden Crafts" part and take advantage of these gorgeous flowers. I will be the Design Team Coordinator for her amazing brand new Design Team and look forward working with these very talented ladies.

Here is what I received in my first package from Archana and I am looking forward to be creating lots of projects with these gorgeous flowers.

Isn't this an amazing array of gorgeous flowers? I honestly could not wait to create a project with them but to see that project you will have to come back next week for our weekly inspiration posts.  (wink)

Let me introduce the amazingly talented other ladies that have been chosen to be on the team
