Happy Hump Day sweet blogging friends! I am coming to you today with another card, but before I go into detail with it, I would like to remind you that I have a surprise little giveaway going on on my post from yesterday. So, if you have not commented on my post from yesterday yet, you will have until 6 pm, MST to leave a comment to be entered into this surprise giveaway.

Alright, on with today's post. I have used the sweet stamp set called "Children's Prayers" by Our Daily Bread Designs to create this card. I started a 5.5"x5.5" base, you all know that I mostly work with 6"x6" paper pads and by making them this size I have the least waste of paper. ;D I chose paper from the BoBunny Little Miss Collection and just pulled my colors from it. Have a look and see for yourself

Recipe:

Paper: PTI Vintage Cream, Ripe Avocado, Sweet Blush, SU Certainly Celery, DP BoBunny Little Miss Collection

Stamps: ODBD Children's Prayers

Inks: VersaFine Onyx Black

Accessories: Spellbinders for ODBD Antique Labels and Border, Spellbinders Decorative Labels 22, Cherry Lynn Designs Mini Fanciful Flourish, Memory Box Meadow Leaf, Wild Orchid Crafts roses, Mulberry roses and rose buds

Size: 5.5" x 5.5"

This is my card for today. I hope I was able to inspire you. This card shows, that this set is not just for little children. God calls us all his children, so this card would be perfect to send to someone that needs a little encouragement....don't you think?

Thanks so much for stopping by today. All of your comments mean a lot to me....it is like getting a hug from you.

Have a blessed and creative day!

Hugs,

All gave some.....

Hello and good Monday morning sweet stamping friends!  With the 4th of July right around the corner I thought I'd share a patriotic card with you all today. If you have not checked out the Our Daily Bread Designs June release, I strongly encourage you to do so. This fabulous release had some amazing patriotic stamp sets that are perfect for anyone that needs to send out a patriotic card, may it be for a military member or just because you like patriotic cards. For my sample today I have used the "Some Gave All" set and in combination with the BoBunny Anthem Collection paper pack it worked out great for what I was going for.

All gave Some...some Gave All

Recipe:

Paper: PTI Rustic Cream, Pure Poppy, DP BoBunny Anthem Collection

Stamps: ODBD Some Gave All

Inks: Versa Fine Onyx Black, Tim Holtz Distressing Ink Tea Dye

Accessories: Spellbinders Timeless Rectangles, red acrylic stars, silver cross, heart and eagle charms, red/white/blue grosgrain ribbon (I've toned it down with a Copic marker)

Size: 5.5" x 5.5"

I wanted the ribbon and charms to look like medals, and I asked hubby, who is retired Air Force (26 years), if that would look right and he said, cool idea. Wheeeeew!

Well, what do you think about my card? I would love to hear from you!

Thanks so much for stopping by. I truly appreciate you taking the time!

Have a blessed day!

North Coast Creations June Release

Hello and happy Saturday stamping friends!  I have a very special post for you all today. It is release day over at North Coast Creations and this month it is all about silhouettes. I think you will love these wonderful stamps and I am sharing two samples today, made with two of the three sets that are being released. Have a look for yourself, so here is my first card

Thinking of You

Recipe:

Paper: PTI Vintage Cream, Kraft, DP Melissa Frances Attic Treasures

Stamps: NCC  Find Beauty

Accessories: Spellbinders Decorative Labels 8, Labels 18, Labels 6, lace, half pearls, flat back pearl trim

Size: appr. 4.25" x 5.5"  (I did cut the base a little smaller so it would not be all the way visible with the Decorative Labels 8 die cut)

And here is my second card, using the "Heaven's Masterpiece". This one is almost flat enough to be mailed out in a regular envelope, so that is a good thing as most of my cards need a bubble mailer. ;D

God bless the U.S.A.

Good Friday morning stamping friends! Wow, what a week it has been. I am glad it is Friday. My DD had oral surgery and my poor baby cannot tolerate pain, but she is feeling better thanks to some medicine the doctor subscribed and she has been taking faithfully. But you did not come here to hear about my daughter, I am sure, so let me share a very "Clean And Simple" card with you all. For this one I went simple as I wanted it to be more masculine. So here is my card:

God bless the U.S.A.

Recipe:

Paper: PTI Rustic Cream, Smokey Gray cs from my stash, DP BoBunny Weekend Market Collection

Stamps: ODBD Some Gave All

Inks: Steel Blue, Palette Moulin Rouge, Tim Holtz Distressing Ink Antique Linen

Accessories: Spellbinders Labels 28, Labels 17, silver brads with stars (I believe they are SU), silver eagle charm, red with white stitching grosgrain ribbon

Size: 5.5" x 5.5"

This is my very "Clean And Simple" (CAS) masculine card. I will be back tomorrow with a brand new release for North Coast Creations. You have to check this release out.......so beautiful! So, see you all tomorrow.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, it  means a lot to me that you take the time to visit!

Have a blessed day and stay cool!

Now... on to my project details:

I have two projects to share with you today!

My first project, a wall hanging, for which I've used the Children's Prayer and Precious Girl stamp sets. Oh, if you have a closer look at those stamp sets, you will find that they are perfect for a lot baby projects.

Have a look at this sweet little canvas

Recipe:

Paper: Canvas covered chipboard, PTI Rustic Cream, Sweet Blush, DP Melissa Frances C'est La Vie, My Minds Eye Madison Avenue

Stamps: ODBD Children's Prayer, Precious Girl

Inks: Memento Rich Cocoa, Copics, VersaFine Onyx Black

Accessories: Spellbinders Grand Nestabilities Labels 1, Spellbinders for ODBD Antique Labels and Border,  Recollections bling, Cheery Lynn Designs Mini Fanciful Flourish, pearl centers from my stash, Mulberry and fabric flowers, pink braided trim, baby pink seam binding

Size: appr.: 6"x6"

Isn't it cute? I don't know about you, but this little prayer right here is one I say with my children every night since they were born. In my opinion it is very important that we teach our children how to pray and what  better way to do it right before they go to bed and you kiss them good night?

Alright, let's go from cute and sweet to a little more masculine. I have a second project to share. With the 4th of July being just around the corner this new set, called "Some Gave All" is perfect for those patriotic cards and the holidays associated with them, like Memorial Day and Independence Day. But wait, that is not all, if you know anyone that served or is serving in any of the military services, if it be Air Force, Army, Navy or Marines and even the National Guard for example you will not go wrong by purchasing this wonderful set. My husband is retired Air Force, 26 years in the service and there were plenty of times he was deployed or TDY and it would have been nice to an amazing set like this.  I still know plenty of people, men and women alike, that are still serving this wonderful country and this set is a must have. So here is a simple card have a look

God shed........

Recipe:

Paper: PTI White, Pure Poppy, DP Teresa Collins Everyday Moments

Stamps: ODBD Some Gave All

Inks: Memento Rich Cocoa, VersaFine Onyx Black, Copics

Well, this is it for me. I thank you for stopping by today and I thank you for it. From here I will send you off to see that the ever so creative Julie has come up with.

Remember this Hop runs for two days, so don't miss out on your chance to win one of those fabulous prizes mention above.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
