Praying for a Cure

Hello and happy Hump Day stamping friends!! Today is a very special day,    Our Daily Bread Designs is one of many sponsors for the Splitcoaststampers second annual Hope You Can Cling To card drive to benefit those affected by breast cancer. Make sure to check out the Hope You Can Cling To Challenge Forums.

To further support this cause, Our Daily Bread designs released a brand new stamp set, "Praying For A Cure" on October 15th. A portion of the proceeds from sales of this new stamp set sold during October will be donated to the American Cancer Society

And to show some creative possibilities using this fabulous new set some of the Designers also called Breadsticks over at Our Daily Bread Designs have joined in to make samples and I was one of them :D

Have a look and see what I came up with!

This is a little gift set I made which includes a necklace, purse charm and card. I took some pictures of the items individually so you can see it more close up.

The card

The necklace

and the purse charm

Recipe for the card:

Paper: PTI Vintage Cream, Dark Chocolate, My Minds Eye Madison Avenue

Stamps: ODBD Praying for a Cure

Ink:  Memento Rich Cocoa, Rose Bud, Tim Holtz Distressing Ink Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose

Accessories: Spellbinders Fleur De Lis Squares, Fancy Tags Three, Rose trim, seam binding, Antique silver Hope charm, Recollections pink pearl flourish, Recollections Extra Fine Glitter in Blush, Recollections pink and ivory half pearls

For the necklace and charm I 've used Schrinky Dink to make the stamped on charms. All metal charms are from either e-Bay or my local craft store. To stamp the image and scripture unto the Shrinky Dink I've used Memento and StazOn ink.

What do you think?

Wow Sabrina! This is incredibly stunning! You are just amazing, Sweetie! I can't believe that part of the jewelry is actually made with shrinky dinks! It is so beautiful! Your card was my absolute favorite of all. I love the soft, feminine colors. I love the brown of the dp, and the pinks used on the card. I love this set because there are so many choices of what to use on each card. I LOVE those beautiful roses across the base of the card...and isn't this butterfly wonderful with the pink ribbon used as the butterfly's body. I love the pearls...and the shape of the paper with the Scripture is so special. Several people are going to be blessed by this card. All of us who get to see it, the person who receives it, and the person they send it to! You are really sharing the love!
