Hello on this wonderful Saturday....

my stamping friends!  It is this time again to share the new Shining the Light Challenge over at Our Daily Bread Designs with you. This week Chris is challenging us to

Be Inspired by a WORD or the ENTIRE PHRASE "You're a grand old flag, you're a high flying flag."

You can use a flag, something flying, something high or grand.....

To make the challenge even more fun, we will be giving out a prize, a $15 gift certificate to be used toward stamps at the Our Daily Bread Designs store!! Entries for the prize must be submitted by Thursday, July 21. One random winner will be chosen and announced next Saturday. If you are not using ODBD stamps, please do not enter more than once. Additional entries without using ODBD stamps will not be commented on or will they qualify for prizes.

While it is not required to use Our Daily Bread Designs images and sentiments on your creations, we would love to see them if you have them. As a way of recognizing those who do use Our Daily Bread Designs stamps, we will again be choosing 1 to 2 creations to spotlight for our Shining the Light Award. In order to qualify for this award, however, you must use Our Daily Bread stamps and have your submission added to Mr. Linky by July 21at 8 p.m. EST.If you upload your creations to Splitcoast Stampers or any other online gallery, please use the keyword is ODBDSLC68. When creating your posts on blogs please include a direct link to the challenge.

So, are you ready to see what I came up with? I really stretched it on this one ;D.

I went with old/Vintage and flying (this is where the stretching comes in,LOL) I used butterflies on my DP and a die cut butterfly...butterflies do fly, right?

Have a look and let me know what you think

Recipe:

Paper: PTI Fine Linen, White, Recollections Kraft, Pink Paislee Butterfly Garden DP

This is it for my inspiration, after you leave me some love :D:D, you know we all love it when we get comments, I will send you on over to see what

Chris

Fran

Lori

and Pat

have come up with.  Silke is still taking a break but will be back 1. August.

Make sure you also head on over to the ODBD Blog to see what other challenges there are still going on. I am sure you will find it interesting that in all three challenges ODBD has going on you have a chance to win a gift certificate and all it takes is for you to play along. That is not hard, is it? I would love to see your creation added to Mr. Linky and get that little bit closer on on possibly winning.

Well, this is it for me for today. This is my girls last weekend off before it is back to school on Monday. It has its benefits to be in an all year round school district ;D;D

Thanks for stopping by today and making my day a happy day.

Have a blessed and super creative weekend!!

Hugs,

I also see a bird on your dp, and yes butterflies and birds fly. Not such a stretch at all. I really like how you used fairly neutral colors and then popped the pink rose! Gorgeous.
