This is the day that the Lord has made....

let us rejoice and be glad in it!!!  Good morning my stamping sisters, it is Sunday and that calls for a new Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge and this weeks Host is no other than my sweet friend Grace Nywening!!
Grace is such an amazing person and has a HUGE heart not just for people but for GOD!! Grace chose this scripture:

Matthew 6:6 "But you, when you pray, go into your inner room, close your door and pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you."

I must say, I very seldom go into my prayer closet so to speak. Being a busy mom of two I do most of my praying either while driving or while I wait in the parking lot to pick up my kiddos from school. See this is the thing about God , he hears you wherever you are. He will NEVER say I am too busy too listen right now, he is there when you call upon him and that, my friends, is one thing that got me totally hooked on GOD ;D.  We all know that God is an omnipresent  God, so there is no worry that he won't hear my cry, or my rejoicing, he is right there with me!! All right, got my little little message out for this morning and now I am sure you all would like to hear what the challenge is for today, right?

Well, here it goes:

Create a card or project that has something hidden from first view. It could be many things... an envelope, a pull out, doors that open to reveal something, a Joy Fold, Flip Flop, Magic, Slider...anything that you don't see at first glance.

For my card I went the easy route, but I'll have to show you two pictures so you'll see my hidden message :D:D

Thinking of You.......

Here you can't see the message

and here you can
Recipe: Paper: PTI White, Simply Chartreuse, Basic Grey Olivia

Stamps: ODBD Thinking of You

Ink: Tim Holtz Distressing Ink Worn Lipstick, VersaFine Onyx Black

Accessories: Spellbinders Nested Hearts    antique pink cotton crochet lace , paper roses, pink half pearls, MayArts leaf ribbon (which I cut apart and added under the roses), butterfly, Recollections pearl brad
So, what do you think? I know it is nothing fancy, but I have a hidden message, right? :D:D

If you would like some more inspiration before you'll get your stamping going check out what my Design Sisters   Grace, Chris, Kristine, Marilynn, Linda, Lisa, Peggysue, Miesje and Rebekka
have come up with.

This weeks sponsor is non other than Our Daily Bread Designs and the prize is a $ 15 gift certificate to go toward your stamp purchase.   If you have a minute you should head on over there and admire all of the NEW Anniversary Sets that were just released on Thursday......AWESOME!!! :D:D

Well, this is it for me for today! Thanks so much for stopping by and making my day just a little sweeter!

I hope you will get to play along.

Have a blessed day!!

Hugs,

Love your card and love your sharing. I think I pray like you - all the time in all the oddest places and moments. So grateful He listens all the time, unlike me!!! That card is so darn cute - that hinge idea - why oh why didn't I think of that? Fantastic colors and layout! Have a wonderful week.

A clever girl you are my friend. I love the little flowers and the hidden sentiment, great job! I agree, I don't have a physical place where I pray, just inside my head or out loud when I am alone. It's personal, you know. *smile* Love ya Sabrina.

What a neat way to meet the challenge parameters! And this card is delightful! Your words were a great reminder to me that it doesn't matter where I pray, you are so right, he is never too busy to listen to me. That thought is so comforting. Thanks for your words.
