Three Of One Thing.....

This week the team would like you to use three of something. It can be three designer papers, 3 stamps, 3 buttons, 3 ribbons, 3 embossing folders, 3 layers.....

To make the challenge even more fun, we will be giving out a prize , a $ 15 gift certificate to be used toward stamps at the Our Daily Bread Designs store!! Entries for the prize must be submitted by Thursday, August 11. One random winner will be chosen and announced next Saturday. While it is not required to use Our Daily Bread Designs images and sentiments on your creations, we would love to see them if you have them.As a way of recognizing those who do use Our Daily Bread Designs stamps, we will again be choosing 1 to 2 creations to spotlight for our Shining the Light Award. In order to qualify for this award, however, you must use Our Daily Bread stamps and have your submission added to Mr. Linky by August 11 at 8 p.m. EST.If you upload your creations to Splitcoast Stampers or any other online gallery, please use the keyword is ODBDSLC24. When creating your posts on blogs please include a link to the challenge.

So, let me show you what I came up with. I challenged myself a bit as I never...EVER mix and match Designer Papers, I chose 3 of them!! Yep, I overcame my fear of it looking too much and too busy and I just went for it,LOL!!!

Do you want to see how it came out? All right, but you gotta promise me to honestly tell me what you think...all right?

God's Hands

Recipe:
Paper:PTI Sweet Blush, Dark Chocolate, Memory Box Gossamer

Stamps: ODBD God's Hands and Fleur De Lis Borders

Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa, Tim Holtz Distressing Ink Tattered Rose, Antique Linen

Accessories: Nesties Petite Ovals Large, Prima Flowers, pearls made with Viva Pearl Pen in Ice White, antique copper cross, hand dyed seam binding, hemp cord, Tim Holtz Distressing Tool

Whatcha think? Those Memory Box Gossamer papers are all so wonderful and I truly had a little fun picking the ones I liked and was surprised how well they go together ;D. I am getting there....slowly but surely I will overcome this fear of mixing and matching papers!! Gosh, I have enough of them. ....I have so many paper pads that my DH always tells me that I could open up my own store,LOL!!!
