Happy Thursday.....

my stamping friends!!!! I have 2 cards to share with you all today :D:D. Yep, I realized that one of them, which I made a little while ago still had been sitting in my photo tray and was not posted yet.....shame on me, right? Well, I was so busy creating, that it slipped my mind, but it is not too late.....I made it for my stash of "just in case box". Do you have one of those boxes where you add card over card "just in case" you need one for a friend or someone you know who is in need of some encouragement? Have a look at this card...

A Woman who fears the Lord......

Recipe:

Paper: PTI Vintage Cream, Sweet Blush, S.e.i. Claire

Stamps: ODBD Scripture Collection 3

Ink: Palette Toile Pink, VersaFine Onyx Black

Accessories: Nesties Labels 5, MayArts braided trim ivory, May Arts sheer ribbon in ivory, Recollections Rhinestone Flourish, handmade crochet flower in pink, pewter headpin, silver spacer bead, Martha Stewart Monarch butterfly punch

So, do you think that this will brighten someones day? I have found that whenever I don't have any cards in my little"just in case" box I am struggling with time or just plain creativity, so I like to be prepared and have them ready so when a "just in case" situation arises I am ready ;D!!!

My second card I have for you today is a very CAS card for me. You all know that I "love" embellishments, the more the better, but for this one I kept it to a minimal, seriously. I only added some ribbon, a cross charm and one of my handmade flowers ;D. I tell ya, these little flowers are so easy to make if you have a Cricut Expression!!

Here is my

Isaiah 41:10 CAS

Recipe:

Paper: PTI Rustic Cream, DCWV Mariposa textured cs, K&Company Blue Awning (my all time favorite :D)

Stamps: ODBD Scripture Collection 1

Ink: VersaFine Onyx Black, Tim Holtz Distressing Ink Faded Jeans, SU Brilliant Blue

Accessories: Studio 18 blue Rhinestones, Tim Holtz Distressing Tool, moss green satin ribbon, handmade flower using my Cricut Expression and the Accent Essentials cartridge (it's the second flower in the second row from the bottom)

"Clean and Simple" isn't it? The blue on my handmade flower looks much brighter in this photo. It is more muted IRL, much closer to the blue on the DP ;D.

Usually when I make a card I pull out my Nesties, but I wanted to get some practice in making a more simple card and so I stamped the scripture directly unto the Designer paper and I think it works in this case.

Are you ready for one more picture?

I took a picture of the flowers I made the other day.

What ya think? All of the brown ones are treated with Glimmer Mist as I made them for a special project I am working on ;D.

All right, this is it for right now. I thank you for taking the time to stop by today.

Have a fabulous and creative day!!

Hugs,

Hi Sabrina - love these 'just incase' cards they are both gorgeous in their own way! Your style just adds so much, even with CAS! Love the lace, crochet ribbon and bling on the first card - it is perfect with that fabulous scripture!! The flowers on your second card - both stammped and handmade are perfect - do you have a link to a titoral for those - or are you going to do one for us - fabulous! Thanks for sharing my friend! {{{hugs}}}

So much to comment on, today! First card is Breath taking!!! Definite "cheer up" card, the pink flower is so sweet. I just love the second card, can't really explain what it is. Actually it reminds me of a hand painted tile, like you would use as a back splash or bath tile. Lovely cards like always, Hugs!
