Hi there.....

on this beautiful and sunny day here in Southern Arizona!!! Oh my goodness, I tell ya, last week we had some weird weather. It was freezing cold..literally!!! We went from being in the 80's down to into the 30's and low 50's. Can you say shock!?!?! Well, it was way to cold for the girl to go into her stamp room and stamp as it is right above the garage and freezing cold. My hubby would not allow me to turn the heat on (stinker ;P). Anyhow, I am really glad we are back to warmer temps.

Yesterday I had a major migraine again and was really not doing much. After I had taken some meds I checked my e-mails and blogger updates and I saw that the Stampin' Sisters in Christ had challenge # 11 up so I've decided to go and check it out. This week they are using Deuteronomy 31:8 as their inspiration. To find out more head on over to their site SSCC#11 and get the details. Since I did not want to take a chance yesterday, for those that deal with migraines, y'all know how it is, right? I took some time this morning and made a card for this challenge. I knew I did not have the inspiration scripture, but I have a real appropriate stamp from Verve, Hebrews 11:1 which reads: "Faith is the Substance of things hoped for, the Evidence of things NOT SEEN!!! " So guess what, yep, I used it. The challenge also speaks of creating something when GOD is unseen, so I was sold on this stamp. What could have been better? On this card I made I used some paper from a pad I ordered a while back and it is from Crafty Secrets. This was my first time using their papers and I must say that I am really happy with this pad which is called EARTH. I also got to use my new Nesties Labels 8, yeah, I know I am a bit late, but I had to wait a while to get them ;D.

All right, here it is

Faith........

Recipe:

Paper: PTI Rustic Cream, SU Chocolate Chip, DP from the Earth Collection of Crafty Secrets

Stamp: Verve Hebrews 11:1

Ink: SU Close to Cocoa, Chalk Box Creamy Brown, Toffee

Accessories: Nesties Labels 8, Satin ribbon, Prima Fairy Tale Collection mini roses in a peach color (DP has some of that color in it ;D), Recollections half pearls, foam tape, glue dots

So, what do you think? I really like the way this card came out. I just hope that it will do the job and encourage someone.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. If you have a minute I'd like to know what you think.

Last week I was a little down as several people have unsubscribed from my Blog. One person actually put as a reason "too many updates" another "content not relevant anymore" and that kind of got to me. I have no idea why it got to me the way it did, but I was really hurt. I thank each and every one of you that do take the time to leave me some love as it truly does make my day!!! Sorry, but I had to share this. It was really eaten me up and maybe I should make a card for myself to cheer me up ;D.

Thanks for letting me vent.

Hugs,

Greetings, I am not suscribed to any site, however, I have you and 5 more saved to my favorites. I accidently found you when I did a search for inspriation for a sympathy care to create on the computer. I fell in love with your creations and check everyday for new cards. I have purchased stacks of papaer and accessories and has yet not gotten the nerve to try and do a hand made card...but soon. In the meantime, I will continue to visit you. By the way, I suffer with migranes and understand your pain.

Migraines *shudder* I get those too and boy, they do knock you for a loop! What a lovely card! The scripture choice is wonderful and all those flowers make it look like something that should be framed. Sorry about the disappointment of someone unsubscribing and then saying why . . .isn't it like leaving a party, you just say thanks and excuse yourself? Beautifully done and thank you for participating in the SSCC this week.

ALL your cards are stunning, Sabrina!! You are oozing with talent, Girl! That's where the migraines come from, your brain can't contain it all! LOL! I totally know what you're going through, I've been a migrainer for a few years now, the worst have lasted weeks and months. But since we've figured out what the triggers are, I'm managing much better! Praise the Lord!
I'm glad to have "met" you. I'll be back to see more inspiration!

Gentle hugs for that migraine.

God bless!
