Hi all...

and welcome to day 3 of ISC's Christmas Card Extravaganza /Blog Hop. Over the past few days the other Architects and I have shown you the possibilities that the newly released stamp sheets can bring. Today I have a few cards for you. Yep, I saved the BEST for last ;D. The first card I am showing today is a cards made in some rather unusual Christmas colors, but who says Christmas has to be all traditional? See when we received our packages and had to cut the stamps out, I was not sure what I was going to do. But after some brain storming it came to me (it's almost like the light bulb came on ;D) I was doing something eclectic with the eclectic set :D:D. So, since I love all shades of brown I went with it. For my base I used PTI Kraft layered with some PTI Dark Chocolate. After that I took a piece of Kraft cs and ran it through my Cuttlebug with the Divine Swirls folder and ran over it with a sponge and Chalk Box Chestnut Roan ink. For the Christmas tree I ran the Nesties Megabilities curved rectangles through the bug with some Kraft cs and stamped the tree on it in Memento Rich Cocoa. The BG was stamped on yet another Nesties cut piece of cs in Dark Chocolate and the script was stamped on it in VersaMagic Wheat. For the sentiment I cut a a strip of Kraft cs sponged the edges with Chestnut Roan and Roch Cocoa and put a antique square copper brad through and adhered it to the card and voila my eclectic Christmas card was done. Have a look....

Eclectic Christmas

Recipe:

Paper: PTI Kraft, Dark Chocolate

Stamps: ISC Eclectic Christmas

Inks: VersaMagic Wheat, Memento Rich Cocoa,

for the distressing : Chalk Box Chestnut Roan and Memento Rich Cocoa

Accessories: Nesties Megabilities curved rectangles, Cuttlebug embossing folder Divine Swirls, antique copper brad square, foam tape, 3D foam dots

What you think?

As promised I have another card for you all. Remember the pear card from the sneak peek on Friday? Well, I just had to make another card with this fun set. With this one I went a total different route and out came this fun little card.

Happy Thanksgiving......

Recipe:

Paper: PTI White, Bazzill textured olive cs, Basic Grey Offbeat

Stamps: Fruitful ISC

Inks: SU Certainly Celery, Mellow Moss, Tim Holtz Distress Ink Fired Brick, Watercolor Pencils

Accessories: green satin ribbon, Cricut Expression Home Accents cartridge for the label tag, foam tape, blender pen

See a totally simple card, but it looks so fun. As I was going through my paper stash I noticed that this Basic Grey Offbeat pad had some paper in it that was just perfect as it has pears and apples on it ;D and the colors, well, that is how the colors where chosen, LOL!!!
