Hi there.......

did you all miss me? Well, I am back now and I am still trying to catch up on things to do after our short trip out of town. Those few days away went by so very quick, but I am glad to be home in my own bed :D.

For the last 4 weeks I have been showing cards I made for Sharon Johnson's Stamp Simple challenge and today will be the last post. Yep, my month at Sharon's comes to an end and SSNOTIME93 will be my last official post. I am a little sad, but I will be still hanging around and participate in those fun stamp simple challenges Sharon comes up with. Her and those oh so very talented ladies on her team made me feel welcome. Thanks so much for this opportunity Sharon and thanks ladies for allowing me to play along for a few weeks.

All right now, let me tell you a little about this weeks challenge before I need the tissues ;D.

This week Sharon wants us to do a fun "Combo Challenge" with a little of a twist. We are to use grassy greens and sky blue, well, I did not exactly use sky blue but it is blue. Plus, we are to add some piercing. If you care to find out more head on over to Sharon's blog .

Back to my creation, well, when I found out that we were to use green and blue I knew I wanted to use some of the gorgeous Periphery paper pad from Basic Grey. I just love the Basic Grey paper pads they are so very versatile. The one I picked out is somewhat of a grassy green but the blue is a little darker than sky blue, so I hope I will not get in trouble for that, LOL!!! Since I did not want to cut up too much of the 6x6 paper I made my card 5.5"x5.5" and incorporated some SU Certainly Celery and Not Quite Navy as they are pretty close to the shades in the DP. Since the challenge is "Stamp Simple" after all, I did not add that many embellishments have a look and see for yourself

Birthday Wishes

Recipe:
Paper: PTI White, SU Certainly Celery, Not Quite Navy,
Basic Grey Periphery

Stamps: SU Elegant Cheer (Birthday Wishes)
Paper Salon Fancy Flourishes for the corner
image that is stamped on cs and cut out and
then pierced

Ink: Chalk Box Prussian Blue, Charcoal

Accessories: Nesties Labels 4, Tim Holtz distressing tool,
Prima Nursery Tales Collection mini roses
Grey blue sheer ribbon from Sharon's
ribbon store, blue crystals, dimensionals,
glue dots, double sided tape

So, what do you think? I did some of the piercing on the DP but it does not show that well as the paper is kind of thin but if you click on the photo it will enlarge and you can see it a bit better.

Sharon also has some news to share. For those that keep up with Sharon's blog know already that Becky has left the Stamp Simple team so Sharon took on two very talented ladies which you already gotten to know, since both of them are recent Guest Designers Jenny Gropp and Barbara Anders. Congratulations ladies!!! If you want to see what the rest of the DT came up with head on over to

Jenny, Barbara, AJ, Deb, Janine, Jennifer, Julie, Tammy,

Thanks again Sharon for having me. I loved every minute of it.

That's it for me for now. Thanks so much for stopping by.

Hugs,
