Today is the day.....

my friends. Today you can finally purchase the stamps I have been showing you over the past few days. And guess what? If you head on over to Innovative Stamp Creations you'll get a 10% discount if you use the coupon code 51309 , but you'll have to hurry, because this coupon is only good until Friday the 15th!!!!!!!!!!

Since I got this announced let me show you the third stamp sheet that is available now. It is called Gloxinia (yep, that's the name and it is a flower). I have seen Gloxinia's before and have wondered what they were called. Now, that I work for a stamp designer I know :D:D:D.

This one was not easy for me, because I have to admit, that I do not own any of those cool markers everybody seems to have. I guess I'll have to earn some extra points with my hubby to get some now, because I would love to give those stamps the needed attention, if you know what I mean!? ;P.

So, here is my version of the Gloxinia

Recipe:

Paper: Bazzill Vanilla textured cs, K&Company mat stack, the circle is purchased pre-cut from http://www.limelightcrafts.com/

Ink: SU Mellow Moss, VersaMagic Chalk Spanish Olive, Sage and Wheat

Stamps: Gloxinia by ISC

Accessories: Kaiser half pearls, corner embellishments from my stash(I believe they came from Mike's), sponge, foam tape waterbased markers (I borrowed from my 7 y.o. ;P)

The image is very muted, which I like for this one since I was going for the Vintage feel. You may laugh, but the flower itself was colored with my daughter's markers she uses on a regular basis to color stuff for school. They work, but I do need to buy some REAL markers for myself. I know I have said this about 5 times in this short post so far, but I am trying to figure out how to tell my hubby that I NEED to have some special markers to make my cards look better, hehe!!

Wait, don't go anywhere yet, I have one more Gloxinia for you.

Recipe:

Paper: PTI Vintage Cream, K&Company mat stack

Ink: VersaMagic Spanish Olive

Stamps: ISC Gloxinia

Accessories: cotton tri, from my stash, Kaiser half pearls, SU Designer punch, dimensionals, Le Plum Marker in Vintage red

This is a very simple card, but I thought I'd leave it like that since this image is so pretty.

If you like all of the stamps that I have shown you over the last few days, you might want to hop on over to Connie's blog, you know Connie from mcstampindusktildawn , she has some beauties to show.

All right, this is it for now. I'll have to get some sewing done today and I am way behind. I have to have 3 lap handkerchiefs done by tomorrow afternoon, yikes!!!!

See you all later and thank you so very much for stopping by today.

Hugs,

These are both incredibly beautiful, Sabrina! The first is just so soft and pretty, and I never even though of just inking the image in a color without coloring it...LOVE it that way too!!
