Just me, I am back with......

my other creations I was able to pull off before those darn headaches came back.

Have you all seen this yummy new paper by DCWV? It's like 8 new ones or so. Well, about a month ago I just couldn't resist and I ordered the mat stacks of two of them I really liked in the picture, but let me tell you, they are so GORGEOUS IRL!!!!! You all have seen the card I made with the La Creme stack but this one is done with the Latte one. I thought it was perfect to use with the 5th Avenue stamp set from SU, which I also got last month (I tell you I start feeling bad for my hubby, NOT!!!!) It's my therapy and it is so much cheaper than a real doctor ;P, right?

Anyhow, this is what I did with the paper.

For my Friend

Recipe:

Paper: PTI Vintage Cream, DCWV mat stack Latte

Ink: SU Mellow Moss, VersaFine Onyx Black

Stamps: SU Elegant Cheer, SU 5th Avenue flowers

Accessories: purple satin ribbon from my stash from Japan, antique brass tear drop charm, Nesties Labels 4, dimensinal paint for the flower centers

For this card I chose 3 of the mat stack papers. The first one is a textured brown paper, then the pretty flower paper and last but not least the purple textured paper which I used to stamp one of the flowers from the 5th Avenue set on in VersaFine Onyx Black and cut them out, added some dimensional paint in pearl on there for the flower centers and popped them up with dimensionals. I know once again not much stamping but I keep finding these gorgeous papers and I just can't resist.

Oh, before I forget. Last week my sweet cyber friend Grace from over at The-INK-ink of you presented me with this cool blogger award. I was so surprised, but yet honored. I mean, I have not really been blogging that long and I did not even think in my wildest dreams that I would get an award, but she is so sweet and passed this one on to me. Thanks, Grace, you are the BESTEST!!!! God bless you!!!!

I'll be back a little later to award this cool "BUG" to some of my blogging friends, but I have to get all of the links together first. You know, when you get to be as old as I am the mind does not want to remember everything you thought that was in there. So, I'll be back with that info a little later.

All right now, I have another little something up my sleeve and it is not a CARD!!!!!! Don't worry you'll like it, at least I hope so :D:D.

I was playing around with some paper the other day and since Easter is just a few days away and I really don't have any Easter stamps per say, I made this little everyday themed bag for a few truffles I'll be giving my daughter on Thursday to give to her teacher. They really try to keep candy and sweets in general out of the school, so that is why we are handing out candy to the kids, but I thought, who can say no to some Lindt Truffles. And the kids really don't get to see them, so I think I am save. It is a pretty simple bag and all you need is a 12"x6" piece of double sided cs. I used the K&Company Wild Saffron pad, which is so gorgeous!!!!!! Can you tell I am a paper addict? :D:D:D

Sorry, back to the bag. Score your CS on the LONG side at 5.5" and at 6.5". Hold the top part together and use either am oval punch or like I did your oval Nesties for the handle. If you use your Nesties use a little strip of low tack tape to tape the two sides together and only run it through your Cuttlebug as far as the Nestie goes and go back so you don't get extra scores on your little bag or do both sides separate, but it works pretty well doing both sides at one.

Since I had the cut outs of the ovals I re-purposed the negative, turned it to the other side and added my Sentiment and taped it to the front of the bag. I also added some Prima's which I layered in different colors and sizes to mimic the paper a bit more and tied a little ribbon in one corner and the bag stays together real nice.

So here is my

A little Yummy for your tummy bag

Recipe:
Paper: K&Company Wild Saffron
Ink: SU Chocolate Chip
Stamp: A little Yummy for your tummy
Accessories: Nesties ovals large, Primas, K&Company decorative brad, PTI Summer Sunrise satin ribbon

This bag can really be made in any size, I just liked this 6" wide one, since I am putting Lindt Truffles in and they are kind of bulky, so if I put 6 of them in a clear bag and put in here it should be just perfect.
That is it for now, I'll have to get those links together and take a picture of one more card I made for the OCC challenge. Until later my friends. I truly appreciate it you taking the time to come by and see me.

Hugs,

Sabrina these are all terrific. I love the new DCWV paper. It is so pretty. I was just looking at it today. The teardrop bead is a wonderful addition to your card. I have been wanting to try one of these bags too. Super creations.

Your card is beautiful and the treat bag adorable. I sure hope your headache disappears. My DH has been on meds for years to keep from getting in bed migraines.
