Happy Monday my friend.....

I really can't believe it is already Monday, again!!!! I am sorry I have been such a bad blogger once again, but I was not feeling too good over the weekend, when I wanted to post all of the fun cards I made since I last talked to you all. Please, continue to keep me in your prayer as I had more of those headaches over the weekend :(:(!!!! I couldn't even go to church yesterday. My 7 y.o. stayed home with me to take "care" of me :D:D:D. Yeah, I guess that what she calls it when she wants to go on the computer ;P. I am feeling much better today, that headache is not totally gone, but it is bearable. All right now, let me show you all what I have been up to. My first card, yep, I have a few for ya, is one I made with the most gorgeous paper ever. Off course it is from Basic Grey and it is called Periphery. As I was looking through this gorgeous paper pad this particular paper jumped right at me. It is a pretty almost certainly celery like green, buckaroo blue and a shade of black. Since this paper is so pretty, I did not want to cut it up too much and so I made a 5.5"x5.5" card.

What you think of this

Be still....... card?

Recipe:

Paper: SU Buckaroo Blue, PTI True Black, Basic Grey Periphery,

Stamp: Verve Be still.... Psalm 46:10

Ink: VersaFine Onyx Black

Accessories: Nesties Large Labels, dark blue sheer ribbon from my stash from Japan, silver half pearls from Mike's, dimensionals

I don't think the picture does it any justice. It looks really good IRL. Sorry about those shadows in the pic, I guess I picked a bad spot in the front yard taking pics today.

My second card for today is a Birthday card for one of my dear friends in Okinawa, Japan it is going to be a bit late, because I forgot all about it. Getting old I guess?:D:D

I tell you, when I go out and about to any type of store these days, I look at things differently. While I was at Big Lots the other day looking for that DCWV paper everybody on SCS seems to be talking about, I found these cool beads. The paper pads where nowhere to be found but I got some beads and a few things for my kids to craft. Those green beads were the perfect match for this cool paper, yes, you guessed it, Basic Grey Urban Prairie. This card, well the paper has Spring written all over. See for yourself, here is my

Birthday Wishes

Recipe:
Paper: PTI white, SU Certainly Celery, Basic Grey Urban Prairie
Stamp: SU Elegant Cheer
Ink: Chalk Box Yellow Cadmium
Accessories: Nesties Large Ovals and Scalloped Ovals
white satin ribbon (from http://www.stampersdream.com/)
handmade stickpin with glass beads in green and pink, dimensionals

Would you like this card, if it came to you in the mail? I sure hope my friend likes it, because she is a SU Demo and she has all the cool stuff, so I hope this will be to her liking.

All right, let me publish this real quick before Blogger starts acting up on me again. The other cards are on their way.

See you all in a few :D:D:D.

Hugs,

Oh Sabrina I am so sorry to hear about your headaches! That is just awful! I really hope you get to feeling better soon! I just love though how you make your cards! You used your papers to the upmost! You have a talent for showcasing the beautiful designs on them! So, so stunning and I adore all the details you add like the blue ribbon on the first and the gorgeous hat pin on the second! I know your friend will be honored to receive it as anyone would be!

Smiles,
janna
